~Song of the chapter is London's Song by Matt Hartke~
Nova grabs her guns and stages them in the now abandoned shop owned by Becks' mom. She puts a gun in a holster she took from the house and puts it on her hip before looking at the others as she puts her knife on her other. She sighs "We got to go find other people today, it's going to be a pain I know having to deal with these people just won't be fun."
"You think? How are we even going to get control?" Beck asks.
"We know what we are talking about. We show them we know what we are talking about and if they still don't follow, we make them." Nova stated coldly as she stood up. She goes out and gets on Harley with Heda following close behind her.
The others follow close behind her and each gets on their respective horses. They then ride to their small town center where some people are already fighting for control. Yelling and gun pointing, of course, there were guns involved, these idiots dont deserve them.
"Hey put the guns down!" Nova exclaimed. "They are not toys they are weapons that could kill someone!" she adds as she gets off her horse and looks at the two small groups of people. "We need to come together, not fight."
"We should, you're right but this man should put his damn gun down and get on his knees!" he shouts the last few words and doesn't take his eyes off the man.
"Of course, you're a cop." Nova mumbles. "There are no laws here, sir."
"Like hell there isn't." the cop takes the gun off the other man standing across from him and points it at Nova "Who are you?"
Beck and Orion back away a bit, startled by the officer that Orion recognizes. "Ryan?" Orion would whisper to themself.
Nova stands there and looks at the gun. "So now you're pointing a gun at someone just speaking to you. We need to work together, we shouldn't fight or kill. I know something none of you know and if you want the information you will let me and my two friends live, you will let us lead since we know what we should do." she hears many more groups begin to approach them, and she didn't look around however, her full attention on the officer in front of her. "So shoot me, I'm twenty, my name is Nova Woods, and that's my dog Heda. She knows many commands, and if you hurt me she will have no problem ripping your eyes out and balls off."
The officer stands there for a moment before pointing his gun down, he puts it back into the holster and looks at Nova and her friends. "What do you possibly know?" he asks
Nova's jaw clenches and unclenches from the situation she was just in. She sees all the people now arrive from all over the town and presumably parts of the city and other towns over. She gets up on her horse so everyone can hear her and see her. "First, the information, then we have some rules we must put into place."
Everyone looks at the three on their horses as Nova speaks. "They are lying to you, there is no sickness, no disease. Those things they dropped last night were what caused the power to go out. They are EMPs, they are trying to make us lose contact with the outside world and appear as if we have died. I say screw them and we should rise up, train, fight! We need to stand up for us, I'm sick and tired of our corrupted government only fighting for the corporate leaders and not the people! It's We The People! Us! Thomas Jefferson, one of our country's founding fathers once said, 'Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends [life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness] it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government.' I think it's time we take out power back."
The now rather large crowd stood there staring up at Nova, Her words shocked them all that she was able to remember a quote so long. But her words spoke volumes to them.
