Nova wakes up early the next morning. She yawns and stretches then looks over to see Alexandria already awake and getting ready for the day. Nova would follow soon after, getting everything on and speaking to Alexandria. "Good morning, Alexandria" she smiles.

"Good morning, Nova" she responds, a smile appearing on her face when she hears her voice. "I'm feeling better, thank you for letting me use the jacket and keep it. It helped me a lot."

"Of course, I'm just glad you're getting better quickly." Nova responds, putting her holster on her hip. She sighs and frowns for a moment "Today is the day I leave for the next few days; we will be back as soon as possible with supplies to stay warm in the winter. Ill send someone back if anything happens."

Alexandria nods and looks over at Nova, a faint smile forming on her face once again. "I trust you will be okay. I'll start helping get everyone's horses ready, see you in a bit" she then turns and leaves Nova alone in the room.

Nova watches her leave, and she stands there for a moment before getting a jacket on and leaving. Her jacket was thin and did little to keep her warm, but soon she would have a new one that would do the job just fine. She gets some warm food and walks over to her horse.

Orion would get on their horse and a few other men, Nova gives Beck some orders along with Alexandria before leaving with the group of ten people. The town they were traveling to was a twenty mile ride but mostly uphill, it would take a day to get half way there without exhausting their horses so they would stop at a makeshift shop for the night.

"I have never seen a shop so small before..." One of the men says.

Nova looks at the shop and realizes where they are, her eyes go wide and she smiles "OH!" she grabs a larger gun from one of the men, using it to break a lock off of the store and opening the door. She hands the gun back over and walks inside. "Grab as much as possible, we may actually send more people up here and to the town we are traveling to get more supplies, I totally forgot how much materials they actually have here."

"Is this all honey?" Orion asks.

"And jerky, its perfect to set up camp at." She grabs a bunch of the jerky packages and starts putting them in her bag as two of the other men put some honey in their bags.

The group would set up for the night, they sleep there then pack up the next day and begin riding again but just before arriving to the town they slow down to let their horses have a break. Nova hears something in the bushes but pays no mind to it until it's the one thing she didn't want to be, a Mountain lion. She watches it out of the corner of her eye attack one of her men, their horses being spooked. Harley, her horse, throws her off and she slams into the ground knowing the wind out of her chest as the other mans horse runs off. His screams are heard through the small valley they were in, echoing off its walls.

Nova grabs her gun when she hears his screams subside, she knew that if the Mountain lion were to attack again it would go straight for her since she's the weakest looking one in the group at that moment. Of course with her luck, it would attack her. She feels a sting on her shoulder and her waist, its claws singing into her skin. She moves her gun to its chest towards the side as best she can and before it can sink its teeth into her neck, she unloads her entire magazine into hits chest. She's groaning in pain and trying to keep it together as this massive animal goes limp on her body.

It had only lasted a minute at most, but she was still out of breath from being knocked off her horse then attacked. She drops her gun next to her as Orion and the others rush and push it off of her, she gasps for air and screams in pain when they move the Mountain lions' paw from her shoulder. She looks at the area and gets that part of her jacket off, she still can't see it too well, so she gets her shirt off with the help or Orion. The wound looks much worse than it actually is.
