The Sunday morning rolled around. I was very excited to wake up. I was the one who made the breakfast and mom was happy that I did it. Then I gone back to my room to get ready. I curled my hair a bit and put on some Leith make up on. I wore some flared pants and a button up shirt. Simple but good enough for the museum. Mom was similarly dressed. We both got out of the house and she drove us to the building. Found a parking spot and we walked to the museum. M mother bought the tickets for the entrance and then we were walking along and seeing all kinds of painting and sculptures as well.

I missed this activity. I loved going around since it sometimes inspires me to make a clothing or just draw the design at least. Sometimes my mom searches for painting that she would like to purchase, not the same ones but similar one she can find. That is why the house is decked out in beautiful paintings. Its not like she buys them often, since the house doesn't need more, for now she is just happy to look around.

Each time we would go there would be new things displayed. I try to take my time and look at one piece for longer, just like my mom, but sometimes I just can't do it. Its alright though. My favorite painting so far was of a dancer, I don't think it was a ballet dancer but surely a dancer. I took a quick picture and walked up to my mom, who was looking at a particular painting. The painting wa of a beach. A beautiful one and the sand, the grass, the water, eve the rocks looked so detailed. By the looks of my mother, I can tell she would like to find a similar one. Good luck I guess with that.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Hunter with his family. So I excused myself from my mother and quietly walked up to him. He didn't see me yet. I tapped his shoulder which made him turn around and see me.

"Noelle?"

"Yup, that is me. I see I am not the only one to come with family here." I smiled.

"Yeah."

"I-I missed you." I somehow managed to say it.

"You have not clue how much I have missed you, princess."

Hearing the nickname made me feel happy but not for long, knowing our situation currently, which I am the responsible one for it.

"We can talk.. of course not here but someday next week?"

"Ok."

I turned and walked to my mother. I couldn't take it anymore. I had to fix this. It is seemingly had effected us both in a really bad way. I saw the sad eyes in him, the smile that I grew to like so much, I missed it a lot. Its weird how no one had known of what had happened, no one questioned our far aways from each other in school even. Perhaps its because they think that is how he show affection in public place and I know he would have loved to show anyone he likes and isn't a bad person.

"Was that your boyfriend Hunter?" Mom asked curiously.

"Yes and I will talk with him next week."

"Good."

We continued to look through the paintings and sculptures. It took us like an hour in a half to finish and go out in the city. Its also traditional for us after the museums to go and eat. Mom wanted to go to a new place that opened up recently, not that far away from her work building. We got seated and looked through the menu. I was starving and had decided to order their pica which my mom decided to get the big size one, so we could share it. The food was amazing. I got myself a glass of sparkling water while my mom wanted tea. We chatted about the paintings and sculptures we saw. She was very focused on the beach painting and I know that soon I will be told she found a similar one.

Afterwards we got home. I was a bit tired, so I laid in my bed while scrolling social media on my phone. While looking through some post of other people I started ti crave summer and the trips to a warm place since here it is currently cold, sometimes you can still see snow. This made me daydream a bit about summer and the previous vacations I had been on. That is then also the reality hit me. I got up from my bed to do my homework.
