Some students had started to go home or celebrate else where but in the school. There are still plenty of us left but the number has decreased. It is getting closer to midnight too. Some students are still somehow dancing, I don't know how they can do that, some occupy the food and drinks tables.
"I feel like soon we might be done here." Hunter muttered.
"I think so too."
A slow song started to play.
"Maybe you want to dance this, if it would be the last dance here?" Hunter asked me.
"I would love to."
He took my hand in his and guided us to the dance floor. It felt like it was one of the few last songs of the night to be honest. Likely the event is going to end soon. After the song ended we found our friends near the tables and did eat a few snacks and drinks some water before collectively heading out and tot he parking lot to find the cars. Once inside the car's we drove to Luke's place. His parents were away, I believe a trip to some tropical place for a holiday. Inside the house ewe all redressed into comfier clothes and left the fancy clothes there, of course we did leave them hanging and in one place, so once we are back we can easily find the clothes.
To the cars we went again. This time we were heading to the shop that was working twenty for seven which is nice and perfect for us. There we got a shopping cart and loaded it a bit with the food and drinks, even found some Bengal lights, we really wanted them and it was possible to find them. This trip will be amazing I know it.
The shopping took us a bit longer than we expected sat first. I some isles we spend quite some time deciding what to pick and how much. But eventually we made it out with a few bags of goodies. Then we hit the road. I was thankful not to the the driver since it was dark already. I am not really good at driving in the dark, night int he city is better since the lights are fairly everywhere but outside of the city it isn't my favorite thing to do.
I loved that the drive to the cabin doesn't take long to reach. Although not going to lie I was slightly sleepy and almost fell asleep in the car. Once there we got the bags of food and drinks plus our own stuff and brought it to the cabin. The purchase went to the kitchen and the rest of the items were place down in the rooms we were staying in. Then we all gathered in the kitchen to unload the bags and make some food since all of us didn't have anything that good in our systems for some time. We bought some mac and cheese. I haven't had that in a long time and it turned out pretty good. I know that the meal isn't the healthiest but it doesn't matter to us at the moment.
Afterwards we got the Bengal lights and walked into the veranda. We lit up the sticks. Music was played from a speaker and with the rhythm of the music we glided the Bengal lights in the air. I even took a few videos for this. To remember this moment later on. We sang the songs. I think we looked like we are drunk but none of us were, not even a sip, at least I want to believe that. I mean the boys couldn't, since they were the drivers. Though I doubt that Hunter smoking a bit made him be in this state. Maybe we are just really having fun that's all there is.
Then we got back inside. All of us were starting to get sleep but didn't want to go to bed just yet. Probably a bad idea but we didn't care at all. We blasted more music and danced in the living room. A little later we decided to watch a movie. I almost fell asleep while watching the tv. Zoe and Hunter seemed to be the only ones to not be that sleepy as the rest. I knew that Hunter had some trouble sleeping and the fact that Zoe was the same, they both can relate a lot on that.
But the rest of us were tired.
"Do we all just go to sleep since three of us are about to pass out on here?" I was first to speak of this matter.
