Chapter 23: Hellish Training

The hardcore training had just commenced for every student from Class 1-A and Class 1-B courtesy of Aizawa, Vlad King and the Wild Wild Pussycats helping along in an open space. However Satsuki had other plans for his own training program. He was walking inside the forest where he found another open empty space that was devoid of people. He then walked around  to check if there was anything or anybody. He then nodded in confirmation.

Satsuki: Yep this place will do. You guys can come out now.

Right on cue both Ishtar and Ereshkigal manifested themselves standing in front of him as they surveyed the open empty space that was covered in a forest and then looked back at Satsuki who was now pocketing his hands into his P.E trousers.

Satsuki: Well this is where we are going to do my training.

Ishtar: It's smaller compared to where the rest of the class are..

Ereshkigal: It seems more of an arena to me. It's either they organized this after you told them or we ended up finding it through sheer luck.

Satsuki: That's what also I assumed too. One of the Wild Wild Pussycats can manipulate earth thanks to what happened yesterday so I'm not surprised if it's either of the two.

Ishtar: Anyway so what training do you have in mind?

Satsuki: Simple.  I want to test how I have improved on my endurance and usage of my magic circuits.....by fighting you two for the whole day.

Surprise instantly filled the servants faces as he made that request.

Ereshkigal: Run that by me again....you said you want to fight against the two of us?

Satsuki: Yeah. That is what I said. In order to test how my fighting skills, magic circuits and endurance, I made up my mind to have a spar against the two of you.

Ishtar: Hm. Now this reminds me on what we did last year during summer. But this time instead of training, you intend to fight me.  Okay then I'm up for it!

Satsuki: I'm not surprised that coming from you. What about you, you're okay with that?

Ereshkigal: Oh yeah. If this sparring helps you in becoming a stronger master then I'll help!

Satsuki: Good to hear. Then we can settle out with some few rules then. You can come at me with everything you've got. But that doesn't mean you should use your Noble Phantasms though. After all this is just a spar not a fight to the death, got it?

Ishtar: Refusing to holding back but not using them huh?. Noble Phantasms are supposed to be a surefire moves that either kill or incapacitate the opponent but yeah I think I get the idea.

Ereshkigal: I'm surprised you agreed with this. But the problem is....I'm not a close combat type of person like you or Ishtar.

Satsuki: Don't get so down like that. Just do what you do best. Like what you did during the final exams or if you have any other tricks up your sleeve go ahead and use them. You have my permission. That goes for you too Ishtar.

The two goddesses nodded as a response. After that he took a deep breath and activated his magic circuits which were still visible even from his P.E trousers.

Satsuki: Alright let's get to work. From now until 12 in the afternoon, I'll go against you Ishtar and from 12 until 5 I will go against Ereshkigal afterwards and then after that we can head back in the evening so let's not waste any time.

After that he got into his battle pose as so did Ishtar who did the same. Ereshkigal on the other hand walked out of the open space and stood where it was safer and where she will be also giving some moral support considering she wasn't fighting for the time being.
