"Why is that guy looking at you?", Mullai asked Mary as they were walking to the class after lunch, and she turned around to check the said person. The guy immediately looked away and started talking with his friends. Mullai noticed the way he looked flustered when Mary looked at him.
"Junior. EEE 3rd year. Lead singer enga church choir la. "
"Adhuku edhuku unna ipadi pakaran"
"Theriyala. He tried to flirt with me nethu after mass", Mary shrugged.
"He is cute", Mullai teased, and she nodded in return. Mullai raised her eyebrows suggestively and Mary reddened in return.
"Nee vera. I didn't mean it that way. I'm not interested in him."
"You should give him a chance.", Mullai suggested observing him as his eyes once again diverted to Mary.
"Oh Right! Guys who are interested in me are either younger than me, Ilana not a Christian. Ones I'm interested in doesn't even bat an eye for me. Elam thalai ezhuthu", she said in frustration.
"I think you should make the first move and talk to Sam", Mullai advised.
"Yah right. When horses grow horns, that will happen. Nee Vera. Va class ku late achu"
As they entered the class and sat in their bench, Mullai turned around to notice Kathir. She noticed him looking at her and immediately turned his head away to the book in front of him.
She cursed him under her breath and sat down.
"Enna achu? Kathir kum unakum sandaiya?", Mary asked.
"Sandai illa. Aana, avan mandaiyil edaiyavadhu pottu odaikalamnu irukean", she fumed and updated the drunken adventure to Mary.
"Wow! So, he too is interested in you appo", Mary almost yelled when Harsha turned his attention to them and whistled "This is getting interesting. Who would have thought you and Kathir nu!", he said excited.
"Munadi thana okandutu iruka. Kaadhu fulla inga iruku unaku", Mullai complained. "Inametu class la pesaradhuku munadi pathu pesanum"
"It was interesting and automatically en focus inga vanduduchu. Plus, class isn't crowded yet. No worries."
When he was about to turn back, something suddenly clicked him and he turned back again facing them.
"We can go on a double date then. You, Kathir, Bhanu and I. That would be so much fun.."
"Nee Bhanu va first date ku kuptu, one piece la thirumbu va. Aparama double date ku polam", Mary gave back to him.
"Enna ipadi insult panita?", he sulked and added "Wait, I will ask her out sometime soon. Appo nenga unga moonjiya elam enga vechukarenganu"
"Nee thana? Flirt panradha niruthitu ask her out. Aparama vandhu pesu", they teased back.
"Wait and watch.", he said and looked at Bhanu giving her a smile before turning his attention to the front.

"Stairs! Pathu nada", Dee said following closely behind Bhanu as she was carrying lot of notebooks in her hand blocking her line of sight. Bhanu moved into the corner from center. It might sound silly, but she liked defying everything he said. She heard him mutter under his breath and she smiled knowing she had irked him.
"Pathu vara sonna, edhuku andha corner pora? Vizhundhu vekava? Kaila ithana books vera. Ketalum kuduka matengara", he said his annoyance building up.
