"EMERGENCY C-SECTION!" Was the last thing Josie heard before falling into an endless sleep. When Josie Saltzman woke up she was hungry, hungry for something new, something she'd never tasted.
Blood.

When the brunette woke up, Hope was next to her holding a small baby girl in her hands.
"What happened?" Josie croaked out, "I-why does everything hurt" Josie whined, looking around. She turned her head to see a food tray waiting for her. Instead of juice, there was a red swirling liquid, only a little bit of the swirling liquid. The aroma was a delicious scent to Josie. Blood.
"Hey, Jo" Hope cooed, standing up with the baby girl in her hands. "They had to do an emergency c-section on you, to get the baby out. But during the operation, you died. Baby girl turned you" Hope explained with her head down, Her auburn covering the tiny girl's face.
Josie couldn't take the pain and the nagging feeling of drinking the blood, Josie took the cup and drowned herself in the cup of blood her new vampire face coming out as she did.
"Josie-" Hope started.
"No. Don't start please" Josie started, rubbing her temples. "Is this her blood?" Josie asked.
"Yeah, we compelled a nurse to get some, just a tiny bit for your transition" Hope answered, as Josie nodded.
"Can I hold her?" Josie asked breaking the silence between them. Hope smiled, handing the baby girl to Josie.
"Awh, What's her name?" Josie cooed.
"We already chose her name," Hope said, sitting on the edge of Josie's hospital bed.
"Andrea. Andrea Caroline Mikealson" Josie said, Looking up at Hope who had tears in her eyes.

"This is Andrea. Andrea Caroline Mikaelson" Josie said as Lizzie, Caroline, Alaric, Klaus and Hayley stood in front of the hospital room. Caroline, Lizzie and Hayley had tears in their eyes.
"Can I hold her?" Lizzie asked, wanting to hold her niece first. Josie nodded and handed Andrea over to her blonde twin sister.
"Oh my gosh, she's so delicate" Lizzie cooed, handing Andrea to Caroline.
"She's named after us," Caroline said, pointing towards herself and Hayley. Caroline handed her over to Hayley.
"Hi baby" Hayley cooed touching their foreheads together. Soon after Andrea was handed over to Alaric, then to Klaus.
"Welcome to the Mikaelson's, Love"

I chose Andrea in honour of Hayley and Hope's middle name.
I chose Caroline for the middle name because of the woman who raised Josie and Lizzie. (I was going to do Josette in honour of Jo and Josie, but I'm like 'Caroline doesn't have a namesake!' so here we are)
