"You're going home today!" Renee practically skips into the room with a very glum Charlie walking behind her.
It had been about four days and the past two days she has been able to finally keep the minimal amount of food the doctors had wanted her to eat down.
"So are you." Olivia tries to smile but it looks more like a grimace.
"You know, I can stay longer if you'd like baby." She coos coming around to sit on the hospital bed.
"No."
"No."
Olivia and Charlie both say at the same time. Renee scoffs at Charlie and the man shrugs and gives Olivia a wink that makes her quietly giggle.
"Ugh, yeah yeah yeah." She waved them both off. "I better be off soon then my plane leaves in three hours and it's an hour drive itself just to get to the airport."
"I'll miss you mom." Olivia sincerely replies. She hadn't seen her mom since she ended up in the hospital last time. She almost forgot what it was like having her mom around when she wasn't trying to shut everyone out.
Renee kisses the girls forehead and affectionately rubs her cheek. "I love you too, baby. Please rest and get better."
"I will." The girl nods.
"And please... speak to your sister." Olivia rolls her eyes. "She's been a wreck since you were admitted."
Olivia scoffs. "She's a wreck and yet I'm the one in the hospital."
Charlie stands away from the conversation not wanting to get involved but Renee holds her hands up in surrender. "Okay, okay, I get it... but whatever it is that got between you two just remember your twins and sisters... no matter what you're each others, other half."
"Something like that." Olivia waves her off. Before Renee can continue Charlie lowly whistles. "Look at the time, you're gonna miss your flight if you stay any longer."
Renee's eyes widen and she glances at the clock. Standing up she begins collecting her stuff and gives Olivia a final hug. "Oh gosh, hes right. Please call me every hour, goodbye my baby."
Once the door shuts Olivia and Charlie both sigh of relief. "I love and missed her so much... but she's a lot."
"You're preaching to the choir, Liv. Preaching to the choir." He chuckles.
"You sure you're alright to walk up the stairs?" Charlie worriedly questions as they enter the home.
Olivia softly smiles and grabs her dads hand. "Dad... I know I scared you and I'm really sorry. But it was malnutrition, not a broken bone."
"Severe malnutrition, Olivia.... I would've preferred a broken bone." He groans.
