Unexpected

Chapter Eight

We laid on the ground looking at the moon light. Alexander was playing with my hair.

He told me to put it down so he can feel my hair. Right now he was currently making a braid, how cute.

He was laying on his side, while I was laying on my back. I liked the feeling when he played with my hair.

"I love you." He whispered. I bit my lower lip and smiled at him. "I love you too." Alexander looked at me, then wrapped his arms around me tight.

I turned my body to face him. His eyes were full of happiness and love. I love him so much.

A sigh came upon his lips once I snuggle up to him. "I wish we could stay like this forever." He said.

"You want to go to the beach?" I offered. He nodded and kissed my head gently. "Alexander." I lifted my head to look at him. "Mikasa."

I rolled my eyes and looked at him again. "It's going to be morning soon." Alexander stood up and held his hand out.

I gladly took it as he helped me up. We decided to walk to my house. While we were walking he kept stealing glances at me.

Probably because I was frowning. "What's wrong?" He asked me worriedly. I stopped walking and faced him.

Our eyes locked. He was frowning so I wrapped my arms around his neck and pecked his lips. "Nothings wrong, I promise."

He was holding onto my waist and blushing. Aw that's adorable. I decided I wanted to see him blush more. "Aw how cuteee."

I pinched his cheeks and made sure I talked in a baby's voice. His face started to turn red at what I did.

I started to laugh as his face got redder. "I'll get you back for that." He put his hands in his front pockets and started walking.

Aw he's mad at me. "Don't be mad." I said in a baby's voice while hugging him from be hide.

Alexander turned around fast and pecked my lips gently. "I love you." He whispered. A smile formed on my lips. "I love you too."

We got to the beach. It was warm and sunny so I constantly put on sun screen.

Don't laugh I prefer to be pale and not to burn. I stayed under and umbrella most of the time to build sand castles.

Alexander helped me every once in a while, but most of the time he swam. Right now I was building the best sand castle of the day so far when Alexander came over.

I knew he was going to destroy it and run away. What I didn't know was caused me to run after him. He was walking over here with a bucket.

It looks empty, but it wasn't. Alexander sat in front of me and started to help me build my sand castle.

He poured the bucket of water on my sand castle then rubbed the sand in my hair and on my stomach. My eyes widen as he ran off. "Alexander!"

I yelled. I got on my two feet and started to chase him. He was handing to the water, but I was going to get him back.

He was in the water, and I finally caught to him to push him in the water. I felt arms grab my waist and throw me in the water.

Good thing I held my breath before I got under. I swam up the the surface and saw him running.

That's it! I started running as fast as I could and once I got to the sand I started to throw it at him.

He was laughing while getting hit with it. Once we were inches apart I kissed him. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him.

I cupped his cheeks and broke the kiss. Alexander grabbed my hand and interlocked our fingers.

He took us inside the beach house so we could eat. "What do you want to eat?" He asked me. "Pizza."

I smiled at him and pecked his lips. "Hm what to drink?" I acted like I was thinking. "Sprite."

He nodded and waited for the waiter to get here. In the mean time we were asking questions to get to know each other.

"What's your favorite color?" I asked. He smiled at me and poked my nose. "You first." I rolled my eyes and poked his nose back. "Red, now you."

"Red." We looked at each other happily and smiled. "Favorite drink?" He asked. "You first."

I asked in a mocking manner. "Dr. Pepper." He looked into my eyes and chuckled. "Now you."

"Hm, sprite." The waiter gave us our food. (We got the same thing except for drink, he got a Dr. Pepper.)

We started to eat our food. After he finished his food, he started to watch me eat, carefully.

It was to the point he was squinting at me. I finally finished my food and drink.

Once I was done I got close to his face and raised an eyebrow at him. "Why the squint?" I asked. He chuckled and pecked my lips.

"Just wanted to see your reaction." He took my hand and we walked outside to watch the sunset.

We laid on the sand, cuddling. He was of course playing with my hair. "You love playing with my hair don't you?" He chuckled and kissed my head.

"Do you want me to stop?" I playfully glared at him and then looked at the sky. "No." I murmured.

He sighed and kissed my forehead. "I love you, Mikasa." I bit my lip and smiled at him.

"I love you too, Alexander." We stayed laying in the sand and watched the sunset.

I don't know if he was paying attention. He just kept playing with my hair.

I love him so much.
