Aaron is pale now. Why is she so freaked out? Jason is smirking at her, but it's not very friendly. It's more like he has something in store for her and he's proud of it.

He walks up to her, and I instinctively stand up, making my chair screech on the floor. Luke grabs my arm, and at first I think he's trying to restrain me, but when he stands up too, I realize that he was using me to pull himself up. We make our way up to Aaron and Jason.

Jason has his face close to hers, and starts whispering in her ear.

] Aaron's POV [

Jason walks up to me, and I start freaking out and clenching my hands into fists. I hear this terrible sound coming from.....where Parker and Luke are sitting. Jason walks up to me, and sticks his face really close to mine.

Uncomfortably close. So close I feel his breath on my nose and mouth. He start whispering.

"Hello, Aaron," he spits at me.
"Hello Jason," I growl.
"So yesterday, you were pretty bold," he begins, and I my heart starts to race even though I don't want it to.

His closeness is making me uncomfortable, and I don't like it. He gets even closer to me, and before I can realize what's going on here, he brushes his lips on mine. I gasp, and he smiles at me. What?! This is NOT happening.

SO NOT HAPPENING. Oh wait, yes it is. I gasp one more time before anger replaces my surprise. I feel my cheeks get red, and I punch him in the nose.

He yelps, and cups his nose in his hand. His eyes are wide, and he looks at me, and says,"You punched me."
"Yes, yes I did," I shoot back, and hey, that was a pretty awesome comeback. Parker walks up to us angrily and pushes Jason.

"What the heck, man?" he growls. Jason's nose is bleeding now, and I don't want Parker to get in trouble, so when Jason walks up to him, I step in between the two.

"What? You don't like me hitting on your girlfriend?" he smirks at Parker. I lean against Parker with all of my weight so that he can't move forward. Luke steps up next to me, and is about to go farther, but I grab his arm. I have an idea that has worked since 4th grade.

"Hey, would you stop flirting with me, please? It's pretty disgusting," I smile sweetly. Jason starts to blush at the reminder of what he just did. "There's the blush, ew," I press. Jason turns even redder, and whispers, "I'm going to go to the nurse's office."

Parker and Luke look at me with their mouths hanging open.
"I know, I'm a genius," I shrug.
"How did you do that?" Luke breathes.
"I taught myself in 4th grade."
"I will get that little-" Parker starts.
"Language," I raise an eyebrow at him.

Parker and Luke both exhale in unison, angry still. I grab Parker's arm, and thank him. "No, but seriously, thanks for that." He smiles, and I smile back. Luke coughs. I roll my eyes," Thanks to you too, Luke." He beams. I grab one of each of their arms, and pull us together.

"My heroes," I swoon playfully.

][][][][][][ LATER...

We listen in class like good students, which we are actually probably not. At sixth period, though, we aren't all in the same class. I have chorus, but the boys have art. We part looking back at each other until we can't see each other.

I make it to chorus, and sit down feeling...lonely. But the music fills me with joy, and the best part is, I get to sing it. I've been learning a song in there, and it's called, "U Remind Me" by Usher. I also taught myself a song called,"Wonderwall" by Oasis.

Soon, we have finished everything we need to cover, and we still have 5 minutes of class left. Mr. Paulotte announces what we will do for the rest of the time in his room.

"For the rest of the 5 minutes, we will be listening to solos," he explains. My heart races. He caught me once in the hallway singing softly to myself. I can sing in the shower or quietly before bed, or even when alone at home. But please, not in front of people.

Mr. Paulotte looks around the room. Please, please, please, please, please.

His eyes stop on me. No, no way. Call on the person behind me.

"Aaron, will you sing something for us?"

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

I stand up shakily, and nod, more to myself than to Mr. Paulotte.

I guess I'll sing See You Again.
