I step away from Parker nervously, and give Thalia a weak smile. I nod at Parker, like you go, I need to take care of this. He nods, smirking.
Thalia is really red, and seems like she wants to rip my head off, but also might want to hug me. I glance at Luke and he's blushing. Woah, blushing. Luke Carter is blushing. WHAT.
"What happened?" I ask Thalia, dragging her over to the speed bag area.
"Nothing."
"Doesn't look like nothing," I raise an eyebrow.
"Okay, it isn't nothing."
"I gathered as much," I roll my eyes.Thalia sticks her tongue out at me, and I do the same back at her. So mature.
"Okay, it's just that he said something that not a lot of people have said before." I wiggle my eyebrows.
"What did he say?"Thalia shrugs.
"Oh nothing, just the fact that I'm very attractive and if I wouldn't mind, he would want to go on a date with me on Friday because he thinks that I'm a good person," Thalia finishes. My mouth is open.
"Seriously?!" I whisper-scream. Thalia nods, getting even redder, if that's possible. Okay, Luke wants to go out with like, my best friend of all time. Time to warn him of my wrath.I march up to Luke, smirking. I grab him by the collar of his shirt and glare at him.
"I understand that you asked Thalia out," I say. Luke nods.
"If you hurt her, or do anything, I will beat the life out of you, got it?" with a softball bat, I add silently. He nods really fast.
"Got it," he says, leaning away from me.I let go of him, and make my way back to the speed bag area. I grab Thalia by the wrist, and drag her over to the punching bags. I grab my wraps, and put them on, then I slide my gloves on. While I'm punching, I start to go off in my little world.
Logan. Punch. Logan. Punch. Logan. Punch. Is. Punch. Gone. Punch. Finally I feel Thalia's hands on my shoulders.
"Aaron, stop," she commands. She is the only one who knows about him other than my mom. I turn to her."Sorry," I apologize softly.
"It's okay, I just, you're kinda intimidating like that, and it looked like you were ready to punch something else other than the punching bag," she says quietly. I smile weakly.I take off my gloves, and go to the speed bags, working on one, while Thalia takes her place beside me.
"Are you okay?" she asks.
"Yeah, I guess I just...yeah." I mess up on the bag. I frown, but start again.
"Okay."Mission: Changing subject. Initiate.
"How's school?" I ask Thalia.
"Oh, oh! I forgot to tell you! I'm going to your school now!" she shrieks.
"WHAT?!" I scream.Thalia has always gone to private schools ever since sixth grade, in elementary school, during the last days of fifth grade, she fell off the slide, and broke her leg. Her parents have always been super over protective of her, so they figured getting her into a private school would help.
Now she's going to my school?!
"Wow, Thalia, that's great and all, but uh...I mean, are you okay going to a different school, not to mention the fact that you're used to private schools, and this one is public?" I ask her, and moves her head around like a parrot.
"Well, yeah...I see your point, but I still want to go," she says, obviously determined to go to my school. My mouth slowly works its way into a grin.
"YAY!!!!!!" I scream, and tackle her in a hug. She stumbles back, but hugs me anyway.
"That's awesome!" I exclaim.
"And so are we," she says, dramatically flipping her dirty blonde hair over her shoulder. She waves her hand at me.
"Do the hair flip," she says.
"No way I would ever do that, unless maybe a lion was about to eat me, and that's my only way to escape," I reject her command. She huffs, but knows I won't do it, so gives up almost immediately.
