Today couldnt go any slower. He and Chan decided they would talk about what happened the week before.
Felix would most likely be picking him up.
What if Chan wants to break up? What if Felix was right. Did she really come back for Chan? Channie wouldnt leave me right? He wouldnt do that. I dont think he would do that.
"Hyun, come one. We have school." Seungmin knocked Hyunjin out of his trance with a hug. He was staying at Seungmins for the time being due to the issue going on with Chan.
"Okay." Hyunjin stood up following Seungmin out the door.
Seungmin drove, scary but he can drive. P1Harmony playing in the background. Singing along to Swagger and That'$ Money was their favorite thing to do.
at the school-
"Hyunjinnie!" Felix jumped at Hyunjin. Embracing him tightly, Changbin was there too. He also, surprisingly, gave Hyunjin a hug.
"Hi Fefe, hi Bin." Hyunjin hugged them back a smile forming.
"Oh my god, are you Hyunjin? I've heard so much about you!" A random girl, familiar but he didnt know her, grabbed his arm.
"Please let me go." Hyunjin tried pulling his arm away only for the girl to grip him tighter.
"Be my boyfriend! I like you, Im Jennie." She said, a smile forming on her face. Hyunjins blood ran cold, thats why she looked familiar. She was Bangchans ex.
"Let me fucking go." He spat glaring at her angrily. She quickly let go confusion crossing her face.
"Hyun?" Hyunjin looked away from her the anger disappearing from his gaze instantly. A loving look replacing it. Jennie looked at whoever made Hyunjin switch up like that.
"Christopher?" Jennie spat, a group of people had stopped. Hyunjins head whipped around quickly. The anger quickly came back.
"Je- Jennie?" Bangchan froze, despite what he said a few days ago. He wouldnt give her another chance, not after Minho reminded him how manipulative Jennie was. "Why are you here?"
"Because. Im here to get my boyfriend back, but I want a new better one. And Hyunjins just the guy." She smirked not noticing Hyunjins disgusted expression.
"And you think I would ever want to be with you?" Hyunjin caught her attention quickly, she frowned when she saw the grossed out look on her face.
"Well obviously. Everybody wants to be with me." She scoffed, her confidence grossed Hyunjin out even more. He rolled his eyes annoyed at her.
"News flash, im not single."
"Break up with her, or just cheat on her." She groaned unknowingly she said that in front of Hyuns boyfriend.
"Bold of you to assume I would cheat on my boyfriend." Hyunjin scoffed looking in Jennies eyes intimidatingly.
"I can change that."
"You cant change shit Jennie. Hell you cant even change for the better." Hyunjin glared at Jennie, her face flashing in surprise.
"What?"
"I know what you did to your ex."
"Wh- What do you mean?" She laughed nervously horrified that he would tell everybody what she did to Bangchan.
"I hope you realize who youre talking to." He stepped forward towering over Jennie. Her face contorted into one of fear.
"Wh- Wha- What?" She stuttered stepping back, her eyes widened with fear. "Who a- are you?"
"Christophers boyfriend. Pleasure to meet you." He smiled smugly. He backed up and walked over to Chan, the anger once again dissipated once his gaze landed on Chan.
"Hyun?" Bangchans lip quivered as he spoke.
"Shh, I wont do what she did. I wont ever cheat or break up with you for her." He cupped Chans face wiping the tears that fell.
Jennie cursed and stormed away, people gasping and murmuring. He looked at Chan with a sad look in eyes, Seungmin dragged Changbin and Felix away from the two.
"Can we talk about last week?" Chan whispered his voice slightly cracking. "Please?"
"Yea, we need to." Hyunjin took Bangchans hand and led him to the roof. They went up the stairs, ignoring peoples stares. (A/N: stairs and stares in the same sentence gave me anxiety for some reason... TT)
"Im sorry. My words were way out of line when Jennie was brought up. I would never give her a second chance. I dont know what I was saying. Youre un replaceable and I just didnt know what I was saying. Minho told me how bad it sounded after you left. Im not excusing what I said because what I said wasnt okay. You deserve better from me, Im sorry I said that. Sorry isnt cutting it for me, Im going to show you that youre un repleaceable." Hyunjin let Chan rant a little. He smiled softly making sure Chan knew he could keep talking.
"Im apologizing too, I misunderstood you and didnt let you explain what you meant. I should have communicated with you better, I need to start telling you how I feel more. Is it okay if I move back in? Seungmin cant keep me for that much longer." Hyunjin squeezed Chans hand reassuringly.
"Please move back, Hannah whines all night long about missing you." Chan laughed his head falling on Hyunjins shoulder.
"Her or you?" He giggled, glad that he can finally move back in.
"Both, Mostly me." Chan smiled lifting his head up to look at Hyunjin. His eyes were bright, a fond look in his eyes.
They sat just talking, ditching school and still talking. They even just sat in complete silence. It wasnt awkward or eerie, just comfortable.
The lunch bell rang. They may or may not have fallen asleep on the roof for 45 minutes.
"BAHNG CHRISTOPHER CHAN!" Seungmin swung the door open, 5 boys following close behind.
Chan looked back awkwardly, he knew Seungmin would chew him out for his stupidity.
"Dont ever scare me again. I thought my ship was going to sink!" Seungmin let out an exasperated sigh and hugged Hyunjin. "I thought all my hard work was going to fail! You dont know the trouble I went through to convince Innie into making a group chat for the soccer team. And not to mention having to convince Hyunjin to actually talk to you. My god!"
"Me too!" Minho lightly hit Bangchan. "I begged you to text Hyunjin that one time you were worried about him. You tried making me do it for crying out loud! Good thing Jisung was needy, talk about life saver!"
"Oh my god Min! Dont say that!" Jisung gasped and hit Minho harder than he expected to.
"Yea please dont. I dont want or need to know about your sex life." Changbin cringed shaking his head disgusted.
"Ji! You never told me about that!?" Felix scoffed earning eyerolls from everybody.
"I'll tell you later Lix." Jisung giggled, how he remembered that after 3 months was insane. (A/N: I can barely remember what happened 3 hours ago, sometimes 3 minutes is hard.)
"You guys can we not?" Chan groaned covering his face in Hyunjins shoulder.
"Okay, on another note. What the fuck was that Jennie girl doing and who is she?" Seungmin spat out Jennies name obviously grossed out.
"Thats a conversation for a more private place." Chan sighed hating hearing Jennies nane even more after what he did.
"My place after school?" Jisung asked, his parents were most likely on a buisness trip.
"Yea, I'll tell you all everything there."
