upon hearing of the murders caused by the demon, Ray set out to find Mighty, believing that if he found him, they could keep each other safe, while swearing to avenge those who fell to EXEclaw. but little did he know..... EXEclaw wasn't alone.....
he had company....
Ray kept running through the hell. however, he found a trace in the sand. the shoes looked like Mighty's. he knew it had to be a clue to his whereabouts. so he kept following the tracks. eventually, it came to a stop, but it came near Angel island. Ray smiled, knowing Mighty must be hiding there. but before he jumped, Greyness and Redglove snuck behind him, and slammed him to the floor. however, Ray quickly woke up, then blocked a fist from both. then, he quickly threw a dart at Redglove, knocking him down, then he did the same to Greyness. he knew, it would be temporary, but that would have to be enough, for he knew it was a mere distraction. he hid in the bushes, then attempted to reach angel island via gliding. but then, Redglove blindly grabbed him by the tail. he then slammed him down onto the ocean, causing a watery ripple, then he threw him onto the island, then he started flying toward him.
''oww... crap.'' Ray said, rubbing his head. he then started scrambling up onto the surface of angel island, but then, he was grabbed, then he was thrown into a tree. then, Redglove flew back to Greyness to wake him up, but Ray used this chance to run, but then MutanX himself telported in front of him, which made Ray shiver.
''what.... who are you?'' Ray said.
''hehe... foolish squirrel.... you think you can escape? no.... i am a god.... and my brother will take over all living things...now then.... time for your demise. but doing so straight away is so boring.... so i will play with you first.... :)'' MutanX said with a malicious smirk. he then forced Ray onto a maze. ''go through this, and you survive. be careful, you only have 5 minutes. if you don't make it out in time.... YOU DIE!!!! [klefka laugh]''
Ray then started walking toward several dead ends. He slammed into the walls over and over again, in the span of 30 seconds no less. he eventually reached halfway through the maze after running as fast as he could. but that was the easy part. now it was even trickier because all the lines felt like worms. he had to squiggle through it, and even had to glide through it.
regardless where he went, the maze morphed into more worms, and the timer was tight. there was only 2 minutes left. so he knew he had to make it as fast as he could. he did a loop, then threw a dart at the maze. he then flew into the finish, tackling MutanX, and quickly flew off to angel island.
''CURSE YOU, SQUIRREL! I WILL FIND YOU!!!!'' MutanX yelled.
eventually, Ray, holding a chaos emerald, tripped into hidden palace. there, he found the others who escaped. even Mighty was there, to both their happiness.
[writer's note: hey guys, sorry if i'm blocking my brain or getting lazy. it's just... it's hard to make several stories at the same time....]
