''mother, where is father?''

''he's..... not here anymore, my child. we had a divorce.''

''is this to do with that argument you had?''

''yes. he was hurt from it, and we agreed to split up if he was to recover from our strained marriage. besides, i never understood what i saw in him anyway.''

''i know mother.... i will miss him....''

''me two, Ramon. but now, it's just us.''

''and what about my sister?''

''Purple went with your father.''

''will we go on another massacre?''

''not today. i don't have it in me this time.''

''okay, mother.''

a few days later

you were just walking out in the park one normal day. nothing too special.  you didn't have the best life. your now 22 and still havn't made any friends. you weren't able to have a proper conversation with anyone other then your parents. your timidness was what caused you to not be able to go chill out with friends. eventually, you settled into your status. at least you can quietly slide through life, at this point, you were convinced. nothing would change. it's just you, in your apartment, alone.

but while you were walking, your toe hit a purple cone. peculiar. it's not every day you find a purple cone. you picked it up. on the baseplate, it was written: 'Ramon Campos.'

''um, excuse me, mister? is that my cone?'' a young teenager said as he showed up. the teenager had grey hair, brown skin and wore black pants. he had a grey jacket, with a skull on the back

''are you... Ramon?'' you asked.

''yes. now can i have my cone back please? i lost it while i was taking a walk with mother. must have hit a tree branch and i didn't notice for a bit'' Ramon responded.

''okay. of course you can. i was thinking of looking for you, anyway'' you said. you then gave him the cone, then he put it on his head, like his own personal hat.

''um, you wear that cone?'' you said.

''yes. my mother gave it to me when i was very young. she also has one, just orange.'' Ramon answered. ''speaking of which, i have to find her now that i found the cone''

''can i help you, Ramon?'' you asked.

''um.... sure.'' Ramon shrugged.

you took a few minutes to look for the boy's mother. eventually, you spotted an orange cone on a black set of long hair.

''is that her?'' you asked, pointing to the orange cone.

''yes. that is mother.'' Ramon said. he then approached the black haired woman, and tapped her shoulder. she turned around.

''did you find your cone? i was beginning to feel worried'' the woman said.

''yes i did mother. why did you say you were worried? you never are. normally your just cold and murderous.'' Ramon answered, hugging her.

''it's just...i didn't want you to get lost. why would i lose track of my child?'' the woman said, ruffling Ramon's hair.

''this nice man helped me find it'' Ramon said, tugging on your sleeves as you walked away.

''thank you for helping my son. i owe you one to be honest'' the woman said.

''um.... your welcome...'' you said, lowering your head in nervousness.

the woman didn't just have long black hair and an orange cone with a white stripe. she had dark brown skin, and wore mostly black, with a red shirt. she also had black fingerless gloves.

''um, are you okay? you don't seem to be speaking correctly? was it something i said?'' the woman asked, waving her hand in front of her face.

''oh... nothing ma'am. i just... havn't talked to anyone in forever.'' you responded, stuttering.

''i hope we can meet again..... sorry, i didn't catch your name'' Ramon said.

''Y/n'' you responded.

''mine's Agana. Agana Melanie. or Agana Campos. whichever one suits better'' the woman said.

you smiled at the woman. she seemed serious, but regardless, you blushed a little. you thought she was cute for her age.

''can we be friends?'' Ramon asked you.

''Ramon, you literally just met him. besides, i know he helped you find the cone, but you can't just go in expecting him to-'' Agana started, but she was cut off by you saying ''yes. i would like that. i never had any friends before.''

''oh. okay, i guess.'' Agana sighed. she put her hand into her jacket pocket, and she held her son's hand as they walked off. however, she then turned her head, with a quiet expression.

''if you want, you can come with. Ramon would like to play a game with you'' she said.

''okay..... i guess....'' you said.
