Chapter 5

you woke up on the couch, then looked around for a bit. you realized you were still in Agana's house. you looked at your watch. it was 7:30 AM. you then decided to check up on Ramon. you found him in his room, calling his adopted father, Kye, and you could tell because you heard him say ''father''. 

''oh, Y/N! your just in time! i wanted to show you to father!'' Ramon said after noticing you. he then showed you to Kye on his mother's phone. [he wanted to call Kye]. 

''um... hello?'' you answered.

''your the guy who likes my ex wife?'' Kye smiled. ''i see.''

''i know your angry....'' you began but Kye then gave you a smile.

''no. it's okay. she's free now. i can accept that. i'm just glad i had her in the first place.'' Kiye said. 

''have you.... really simped for her?'' you asked.

''looking back on it.... i guess'' he smiled.

''so, how's things?'' you asked.

''okay. just a little.... fractured, and still healing from the divorce, but i'm.... fine.'' Kye said. ''that's all i want to say. thanks for being Ramon's friend''

''your welcome....'' you waved as you left nervously, as Kye continued talking to Ramon.

eventually, you then crouched onto the floor, trying to decide if you can tell Agana your feelings or not. either way your having a hard time picking. just then, you felt Agana appear behind you.

''are you okay? you seem to have a headache'' she asked. 

''yeah.... i guess....'' you answered.

''i must ask, Y/n.... i need to go shopping. would you like to come?'' Agana asked. ''Ramon has to stay here because this is between you and me''

''um......... okay....'' you nervously agreed.

you then headed into the car, and eventually you reached the same grocery store. as Agana followed you as you looked for what to buy, you asked her ''what's with the tooth?''

''oh. it's Ramon's. he's lost a tooth the other day, and this is the last of his baby teeth. he dosn't believe in the tooth fairy, so i try my best to do it for him by putting the dollar coin uner his pillow as he sleeps.'' she answered.

''cool. your such a good mother if your doing such a thing.'' you said.

''thank you.'' she smiled lightly, she felt cool to trust you. 

eventually, the two of you got everything Agana needed, and so you were about to step in the car, you grabbed onto Agana's arm.

''?'' Agana was confused.

''sorry.... i just want to say thanks...'' you told her

''it's k. and i must thank YOU for being a good friend to my son'' Agana said.

''weird how me and him are friends when i'm a young adult and he's a teenager.'' you said, sighing and putting you hands into your pocket.

''i know, but as long you get along, i can overlook that'' she said.

''thanks....'' you blushed a bit. 

afterword, you then got back to Agana's house, and you got all the supplies where they were supposed to be. 

later that day, you then visited the house again, to see Ramon. you entered Ramon's room to see him playing Roblox again. he saw you, and hugged you. you then patted his head. 

''hey, little buddy. how are you?'' you asked. he had opened your eyes when he made you more confident with speaking. 

after some fun and games on Roblox with him, you then decided to finally tell his mother. you sat on the couch, bored, when suddenly, you saw Agana right near you coincidentally. 

''um... hi... hehe... um...'' you stuttered. 

''um, Y/n, are you okay?'' she asked, confused.

on instinct, you jumped up, and hugged her. ''thank you... you and your son have made me stop hiding in my shell.... so please... i have one question...''

''and what would that be?'' she asked.

''will you.... go out with me.....?'' you asked, then you kissed her forehead.
