Chapter 2

you arrived into Agana and Ramon's home. then, Agana started heading out the door.

''how about you watch over Ramon while i go out for a bit?'' Agana asked. ''you two seem to get along quite a bit.''

''sure. i like your kid.'' you said. 

''bye mother! i'll see you tomorrow morning'' Ramon waved as his mother worked out the door. 

as you sat around the house, wondering what to do, you noticed a picture. it had Agana and Ramon, as well as a white haired white guy who was shorter then Agana with a black tie, white shirt, a yellow halo and a black jacket, alongside a young girl with purple hair. Agana was also without her cone hat in the picture, and was wearing a red dress.

''is this skinny guy your father?'' you asked Ramon, who was playing Roblox.

''yes. and that is my sister'' Ramon answered, pointing to the purple haired girl. he then had a sad smile on his face.

''what happened to them?'' you asked, with sympathy in your face.

''mother and father had a divorce. they had a fight. his feelings were hurt when mother said she hated him. she didn't mean it, but he was hurt very much anyway. they agreed they had to split up, considering how hurt father was.'' Ramon explained. ''he also took my sister with him, and he let mother keep me. i miss him.... it just.... feels different''

''i understand, kid. i didn't have anyone to talk to besides my parents.'' you responded calmly, comforting Ramon, then hugging him. he was surprised by this, but hugged back anyway. 

''so, um, what are you playing?'' you asked nervously, not wanting Ramon to think you were creeping over his device.

''Roblox.'' Ramon answered, getting back to his game. eventually, however, he nodded off after a match. 

you smiled. you felt good babysitting a literal 14-year old. 

you then looked at the image. you blushed seeing Agana in that dress. you smiled nervously when-

''you like my mother, don't you?''

you jolted nervously only to see Ramon still awake. he must have heard you moving from the couch. 

''um? what, no!'' you tried to lie, but it was clear you wern't very good at it. let's be honest, you were just trying to cover it up. ''what are you talking  about?''

''come on Y/n. i know you like her. your looking at the picture'' Ramon smirked.

''promise to keep this between us?'' you asked nervously, hands shaking.

''promise. but admit it, you like mother.'' Ramon said, shaking your hand.

''okay, okay. i may or may not have a crush on your mother....'' you stuttered.

''you do'' Ramon bumped your arm with his shoulder.

''fine. i do. it's just... she looks so cute....'' you said, putting your finger so close to each other. 

''lol, Y/n and mother, sitting in a tree. K-I-DOUBL-'' Ramon began mocking, but he was cut off.

''please don't embarrass me. i've been through enough'' you said as you cut him off, by putting your finger in front of him. but instead of shutting up, he bit your finger.

''ouch! i wasn't told you bite!'' you said, shaking it and trying to soothe it.

''sorry Y/n. but i thought it would be funny if i did. you know, i'm tired now. i'm gonna go to sleep. goodnight, see you again'' Ramon yawned, then he put on his pj's and went straight to bed. Eventually, he finished snoozing, and went straight to sleep. admittidly, he looked so adorable for his age when he was asleep. you tucked him in and smiled. 

eventually Agana returned home from some...... business. [actually murder spree thing]. she saw you patting a sleeping Ramon on the shoulder.

''so you did as told to take care of him?'' Agana said.

''y-yes.'' you said as you flustered a bit.

''i must say, thank you. it's hard to leave your child in the house without you when your a single mother, because you don't know if he'll make the right choices by himself'' she continued. ''good thing i can trust you with him. feel free to come again.''
