"Life is not always simple"

yeah, that's true. Last month, I was happy with my friends and family. Last week, I was depressed because of family issues, and yesterday was a mix of motivation with a little bit of embarrassment. Today, I find myself in a problem unknowingly. From yesterday, my life is steering me down a different path.

Why is this happening to me? Why can't problems come one by one and resolve before the next one hits? Instead, they're stacking up on my head like... huhhhh! Really, without even stepping into the problem, I've already started to overthink. I closed my eyes and recalled what happened last weekend.

Flashback

With my family, I was watching TV in the drawing room when suddenly I heard someone knocking on the door. Woofff!!! Who knocks on the door this late at night? I got up and opened the door to see some men standing.

When I was about to ask them what they wanted, my dad came running towards the open door and asked them for time to repay something. I was confused. When I looked at mom, her head was facing down. They warned my dad and left the house. To clear my confusion, I immediately asked dad about them.

"Daddy, who are they? Why are you asking time from them, and what's the thing you want to repay?" Dad looked at me with guilt, made me sit on the sofa, and started to explain.

"Divya, I don't know where to start. I don't know whether you will forgive me for it, but I'm sorry for hiding things from you." Suddenly, a coiled emotion formed inside me. I had never seen my father like this. He continued to speak, "Last year, I got some loans for businesses, but eventually, the business faced a big loss, and..." I couldn't look into his eyes. It was like looking at broken, shattered glass. Then he continued, "I have to pay more than 15 lakhs to the lenders." Hearing this, I didn't know what to say. Why didn't he tell me this before?

But I would never leave my parents in a situation like this. "Daddy, it's okay. You are my hero. I promise we can repay the loan before the time ends. So, when is the deadline to repay the loan?" I asked. He replied, "Within the next week."

Dad took a deep breath and continued, "Divya, I didn't want to burden you with this. I thought I could handle it, but it's become too much. I was afraid you would be disappointed in me." I could sense the vulnerability in his voice.

I hugged him and said, "Dad, you're not alone in this. We are a family, and we'll face this together. Don't worry , we'll find a way and I am your daughter ,i will do anything for you !!." He smiled through his worries, and we spent the night talking about plans to overcome this financial challenge, strengthening the bond between us.

Flashback ends....

I already settled 3 lakhs to the lenders, but the pending amount is more. How am I going to repay the remaining amount? What will happen if I cannot repay it by this week? By thinking about it, my tears are coming out of my eyes. On the other hand, now because of that hellion, I am in a situation to go to Mumbai. If I leave here, what will happen to the loan problem??

When I reached my home, in the entrance, I saw lots of sandals and shoes. Upon entering the house, I found many people gathered there. I was a bit confused, but when my eyes reached the lenders who gave my father a loan.

"Haha, my daughter came! This is Divya Purushothaman, the bride you all wanted to see. Come here, Divya!"

Wait, what??! Did my mom just introduce me to them as the bride? Before I could ask anything, my mom pulled me into a room.
