Really, I thought it would be very hard to live alone. Yes, but having a little companion is different and gives me a boost to return home soon.
It has been a week and a half since I've been away from my home, and now I have a cutie pie with me.
She is so pretty that I find it hard to leave the house every day because of those pleading eyes.
Still, I don't know who knocked on my door and left this puppy that night. I hope there's no mystery or murder story behind the door knock, like in the movies. But there's no sign of anything suspicious so far.
And lastly, as I sift through the project details, his image keeps popping into my mind.
It's been days since our encounter, yet his presence lingers, like an uninvited guest in my thoughts. I can't shake off the memory of his piercing gaze and the unsettling tension between us during the meeting.
Why am I still fixated on him? What is it about him that refuses to fade from my mind?
My mind snapped back to reality as Mukesh tapped his pen on the table. "Yes, anything you need?" I asked him, and he looked at me, confused.
"Really, Div? For more than half an hour, I was talking about the basement piping plan and the plans for interior design."
"Huhhh! I am sorry, Mukesh. Just thinking about the design plan, nothing else," I replied, exhaling deeply, and refocused on discussing the project plan with Mukesh.

Yes! Finally, the moment I've been waiting for all week has arrived. I'm at the famous shopping bazaar in Mumbai, and let me tell you, rows of dresses like anarkalis, lehengas, salwars, etc... are practically calling my name.
Oh, they look so tempting! Well, what can I say? I'm a shopaholic...
The array of colors, materials, and designs in this street market is beyond exhilarating. And those jhumkas and glass bangles, my absolute favorites, are just irresistible.
