They never are.

Villains are forces in a story, drama or show to cause a turbulent mess in the lives of those who are doing well and properly; whose sole purpose is to find entertainment as the hero falls on his knees drowning in suffering. They are meant to tear apart and fuel an unwanted coil of negativity in the hero's ears, to shake his confidence until he breaks into pieces.

Contrary to the generalized knowledge, villains don't always appear hideous on the outside-those who appear aesthetically pleasing in the eyes bring more peril. Their ruthlessness is hidden under a beautiful skin. They toy with the heroes and without knowing it, the tables are already turned.

Prince Charmings they will never be.

Do you know what else they do?

They steal unsuspecting maidens and princesses.

And keep their hearts to themselves, pulling them deeper into the seduction of darkness.

Because villains will never be given the fate of a hero or a prince, their path doesn't lead to a happy ending.
