I walk inside the building with my assistant following me towards THE RAJPUT SECURITIES. One thing I love about their company is all the people working here are polite and professional. I make my way towards the elevator where the assistant of RUDRA RAJPUT escorts me to his office. Mine and Rudra's family are very close to each other. But well, I can't exactly say Rudra is my friend because first Aditiya, my best friend, would kill me, literally. And second, Rudra is not a kind of my man who makes friends, he is cold, closed off and serious all the time. Even with his family, I have never seen emotions in his eyes while talking to them.
We greet each other with nod and start the meeting. This meeting is basically because some of my employees were trying to give information about my company to some rivals but due to the best security of Rudra's company, we were able to detect immediately but the identity of culprit is still unknown.
We were at the end of the meeting when I heard a knock on the door and a come in by Rudra and I assumed it must be his assistant and that when I heard the most magical voice I have ever heard.
"I can go if you're busy."
There she is standing and looking like a queen she is. Ashima is by far the most beautiful and graceful woman I have ever met. The way she walks around and talks with people around her is the reason why most people respect and admire her. Being so successful yet so polite and down to earth at such a young age is so hard but she has done everything with ease. If I sound like a fan so yes for this girl I am.
It's been 2 years since I have met her but not once did we had a proper conversation. But I have always been attracted to her because how can I not? Just look at her man she is beautiful. She is all things a guy would want in his woman.
But right now, looking at her standing in Rudra's office and smiling to him is making me feel weird shit. But what shocking is the look Rudra is giving to her. Love and adoration. Am I jealous? Hell yeah!
Our meeting continues but I just couldn't take my eyes off her. It happens every time she is near, I just cannot concentrate on anything if not her.
"Eyes off from MY SISTER, Kabir" Rudra's words bring me back from the daze.
"Sister?"
He gives me a nod and calls Ashima towards him.
"Ashima this is...."
"Mr. Malhotra" She interrupts him in middle and gives me a small smile.
She knows who am I? She even remembers my name. I mean we have met a lot of time before, but I never thought she would even know my name. Does that mean she also likes me like I do?
I give her a nod with small smile still trying to process my excitement that she remembers my name.
"You know him?" Rudra asks. Even I am excited to know her answer.
"He is our business associate." Off course she knows me as a business fucking associate. What was I thinking that she will confess her undying love for me when she didn't even look at me once since she entered the office.
Disappointed by my expectation I just bid them a quick goodbye and leave from there going straight to my car.
I call the first person I could think of who can hear my stupid rant. Aditya Singh. My childhood best friend or my brother from another mother.
"Ek din bhi nahi hua tujhe mujhse dur gaye hue aur itni jaldi meri yaad bhi aa gayi?"
(It's not even been a day and you started missing me already?)
"Tujhe pata hai voh Rudra ki sister hai?"
(You know she is the sister of Rudra?)
"Kon voh aur kon Rudra?"
(Who is she and who is Rudra?)
"Chutiye Rudra Rajput aur voh teri hone wali bhabhi."
(Idiot, Rudra Rajput and she is the girl who is going to be your sister-in-law.)
"Tujhe uski hi bhen mili thi pure duniya me se meri bhabhi ke liye? Usse pata chala na toh next day missing report hogi tere naam pr bas."
(You have found his sister only in this whole world for my sister-in-law? If he found out, you will be on the missing report on the next day only.)
"Yaar mujhe kya pata tha voh uski bhen hai aab kal unke ghar pooja me jana hai."
(Yaar, I didn't know she is his sister now I have to go for pooja tomorrow at their house.)
"Ja Ja aur iss baar bhabhi se baat kiye bina mat aana."
(Go go, and this time don't come without talking to her.)
"Aabhi tu bola Rudra ko pata chla toh mai missing ho jaunga aab bol raha hai baat karke aana?"
(You just said if Rudra found out then I'll go missing and now you're saying don't come without talking to her?)
"Arre, everything is fair in love and war. Aab ja mujhe kaam hai." He hung up the phone.
