CARMEN MADE SURE THAT SHE WAS BETTER THAN THE MOTHER SHE NEVER HAD. One of the scariest thing about becoming a mother at an early age was having no one to look up to, well that's what she thought at first until she realized she didn't need a mother to look up to for her to become a great mother. She had her father. Her hero. Her muse. She felt bad for anybody who didn't have the bond she had with her dad.

He was the first to find out about Carmen's pregnancy, as she was too afraid to tell Pedri. And when she told him, he was so so helpful. Trying to find any way to make her feel better, helping her move to Seville so she can start a new life, and he was the one who helped her talk and tell Pedri about it.

While discussing what Pedri's gonna say, how he's going to react, they both came to the conclusion that Pedri is going to try to raise the baby with Carmen. While that sounded magical inside of Carmen's head, she knew she couldn't let him.

"you can't let him" Said Gabriel, after they came to the conclusion of what the young boy would try to do.

Carmen let out a deep sigh, she felt herself getting dizzy "yeah I know, I'm not going to let him"

Gabriel knew how much Pedri loved his daughter and he raised Carmen as a single dad, he was protective over his daughter. But the second he met Pedri he knew his daughter was in safe hands.

"He just got into Barca it's a big deal"

"I know pápa, I know" Said Carmen with her face in her hands.

she knew her dad was right.

IT WAS A BREEZY LATE NOVEMBER MORNING IN THE STREETS OF SEVILLE. Carmen inhaled the fresh air, the air was cold making her miss spring.

Carmen entered her shop with a sleepy Paulina in her arms. The different flower scents filled the semi-small shop. It was around 6am in the morning, so almost an hour before she's supposed to open her shop.

A florist was something she always expected to be but a plan was something Carmen never had. She was spontaneous, always goes with the flow, wherever the wind takes her. Carmen never got to finish high school unlike she expected, her pregnancy was not the smoothest ride causing her to drop out of high school.

There's this one thing that Carmen planned, and that is to open her flower shop on Paulina's first birthday. The decision came out of love and appreciation for her daughter.
