"Is this the end?"
"No mi amor, it's not even close to that"
They say you never fully get over your first love, that apart of your heart will always belong to them, and that was definitely the case for Carmen and Pedri but instead of apart of their...

THE FLIGHT FROM SEVILLE TO BARCELONA WAS ONLY 1 HOUR AND 40 MINUTES, which was perfect for Carmen giving that it wasn't too long for the energetic toddler she had who could no way stay sat for over 2 hours.
Carmen and Paulina said their goodbyes to Sophia and Mateo. They agreed to open the shop only four times a week as it was easier for the teenagers.
Carmen was stressing over money. Not working at the shop stressed her out. The usually carefree girl wasn't one to wanna work all the time, she enjoyed spending free time with her daughter and tried to as much as possible. But now having to worry about money made her wanna work and give her daughter the best life she could possibly live.
She really wanted to enjoy her time in Barcelona, she hasn't been there in almost three years and she really missed her dad and hated how she always brought him to Seville and never came to Barcelona
Sometimes Carmen forgets that she's a teenager herself. But having toddler on the hand didn't allow her to do stuff teenagers would probably do, but having Paulina in her life was one of the best things that has happened to her.
The child brought joy and happiness into her life. She was her favorite person to ever exist. Paulina was Carmen's best friend. Other than her dad, Paulina, Sophia and Mateo, Carmen did not have any other people in her life and she was more than alright with that. Being surrounded by them made a primary smile printed on her face, which she was really grateful for.
"Mommy when will we see abuelo?"
She looked over at her daughter who was sitting next to her, her hair braided into two braids that Paulina asked her mother to do for her "When the plane lands sweet p, which is really soon" Carmen answered her question and only 30 minutes was left to land. Her dad, Gabriel will be picking them up from the airport.
An uneasy feeling was going on in her stomach, she hoped and prayed that Pedri's parents won't find out that she's in Barcelona and invite her over for dinner. She knew how sweet and generous the González family are. And a fear took over her body of seeing them again after leaving with no proper goodbye to them.
At some point of Pedri and Carmen's friendship, the González family became like her family. Her dad and her would have weakly dinners with them, they even spent Christmas eve together. And saying goodbye to them was too hard in her head.
It was messy. Everything was, in her opinion. If things were a little bit smoother then she would've definitely stayed in contact with them. The first day Carmen told Pedri about everything, Pedri was in shock and did not text her afterwards. But a couple of days later all he did was text her and try to talk to her. Eventually Carmens dad talked to him and told him how important and bright his future is and that Carmen will be just fine.
