He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. Together, we laid on his bed and continued making out.

Until I felt him stop and pull away.

"Wait, wait. Why are we doing this now?" Felix asked. He was panting.

"Because I like you, Felix. And I know you have similar feelings, otherwise you wouldn't have been thinking about me all year."

Again, he furrowed his eyebrows.

"How did you...Farleigh." He closed his eyes and put his head on my chest. I laughed.

"Its not his fault. You should know better than to tell that boy anything." I teased. I felt his laugh as well as he picked his head up.

Felix moved so that both hands were by either side of my head in a push up position as he looked at me.

"I do like you, Maddy. A lot. But I don't think we should do this yet. Have sex, I mean."

I had to admit, I was caught off guard. By the way he was just kissing me, his tongue would say otherwise.

"Oh." Was all I could say.

I leaned up, ready to get out of my before Felix touched my shoulder.

"I don't want you to leave. It's just..."

He closed his eyes as if he didn't want to say it. I stared at him until he did.

"I'd rather you be sober when we do."

I was confused, so still, I stayed silent.

"I know you were smoking with Venetia. She was bragging to me about it earlier after dinner." He smirked.

I nodded my head. What he was saying did make sense.

"Right. Well, I shouldn't sleep in here. The maids will catch on that I'm not in my bed. One of them will see me here and report back to Elspeth."

"I don't care." Felix shrugged.

"I do. What if they get mad and kick me out?"

"They would never. This is your home. If anything, they'd kick me out before they did you. Trust me. They love you more than they love me. I don't get allowances for new outfits every other month."

I chuckled at his words. I loved the way he could reassure me so well.

"Fine. But, if I do stay..."

I got onto my elbows so my face was centimeters from his.

"I'd rather you not change into pajamas, then."

I smiled and we kissed each other again.

Then we rolled over and cuddled. And then we kissed again. It was a cycle until we both fell asleep, tangled up in each other and the sheets.

I left before the sun came up, some time around 5 am. I tried to fall back to sleep in my own bed, but it was basically impossible. I just kept replaying what happened last night over and over and over again in my head.
