When Selene Parkinson first met Theodore Nott, he yanked her bow out of her hair and lit it on fire before spitting the words 'Mudblood' at her. The next time she met Theodore Nott, she lit him on fire.
She grew up knowing that her mother's side of the family hated her. That all of the sacred twenty-eight hated her. What she did not know, however, was that one hated her a little less than everyone else. He did not even realize that he did not hate her until it was too late to come back from it.
