Taehyun ruffled his wet hair with his grey towel before walking towards the bed, where he saw Beomgyu reading a book with earphones in his ear.

"Wow, you do actually read? That's something new." Taehyun said with an amused smile, sitting on their bed as he reached out for the drawer on his side of the bed.

Beomgyu ignored him, pretending as if he was too focused on his book but he wasn't. He could see Taehyun from his peripheral vision applying lip balm on his lips.

Taehyun turned around to look at the older with furrowed eyebrows. "What's with you today?"

Beomgyu finally took a short glance at Taehyun before turning his attention on the book again. "Nothing's wrong with me."

"Sure, as if I'd believe that." Taehyun rolled his eyes, smacking Beomgyu's arm. "You've been grumpy ever since this morning. Is it because of your sleep getting disturbed? I'm sorry-" Taehyun was interrupted with a familiar ring of his phone.

He grabbed his phone which was lying on the bed-side table and faintly smiled to himself when he saw the contact id.

Taehyun eagerly waved with a smile as soon as he pressed on the green button on his phone. "Hey! You both really don't call me these days."

"You're the one who's talkin'," Soobin said and Taehyun could smell the strong essence from the taller's face mask even virtually.

"Taehyun," Kai's voice broke the two out of their glaring session. "Help me, Soobin hyung captured me into his little skincare session."

Taehyun snorted. "You're in that alone." But he noticed that the two were in his room. "Why are you two in my room? Get out of there!"

Kai sighed, but Taehyun knew that he was mocking him. "Sweet Taehyunnie-"

"Don't call me that!" Taehyun glared.

"You lost the rights to this room the moment you moved out." Kai smiled. "It's mine now. I don't have to sleep in the living room with a mattress anymore!"

And it was true. Kai had to sleep in the cold and lonely living room with a mattress because their apartment was a two bedroom and a kitchen, and he had unfortunately lost in their rock, paper and scissors match.

Taehyun sighed in relief. "At least it's you who's sharing the room." He said, earning an offended 'hey!' from Soobin.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Soobin said as he took off his face mask with a pout.

"I don't know, Yeonjun hyung has moved in there with you. Who knows what you two would've done if you were in my room." Taehyun shrugged, rolling his eyes.

Soobin's cheeks burned red. "You're spewing out nonsense, seriously!"

"Let's leave that," Kai hurriedly interrupted them. "What happened to your date, though?"

Taehyun frowned, his hand frozen in the air from where he was about ruffle his hair. "Date?"

And this seemed to pique Beomgyu's interest as he finally looked above from his book, staring at Taehyun with no signs of emotions on his face nor in his eyes.

Taehyun could feel the eyes on him, but ignored it. "What date are you talking about?"

Kai sighed from the other line. "You told me that you were going on a date with Jake!"

Taehyun opened his mouth but no words were formed in it. "That's not what I meant-"

Soobin gasped from where he was sitting, beside Kai. "Date? With Jake? Why wasn't I notified about this? Does Beomgyu know about it? Taehyun, you have the most unbothered husband ever-"
