.........................
Codrin stopped upon reaching the Beneviento manor. The manor sat on the side of a cliff away from the village, it's back turned to a giant waterfall that poured down into the river below where the villagers fished and sometimes gathered water. The manor itself was fine and elegant with some of the best sculpted wood Codrin has ever seen before. But the manor itself always had this unsettling aura around it, a deadly silence had it not been for the waterfall. Mist was a constant up here, so Codrin was careful when he walked along the trail towards the manor. He came to a stop before he reached the gate and looked around before spotting some Lilly flowers growing near a stump. He kneeled down and picked the biggest one before hiding it behind his back and continued forward.

'Hi lady Beneviento, lovely morning we have right? Why do I have this flower? Oh, I just saw it and it reminded me of.......you?' Codrin thought of how he would talk to the Lady on the hill, her questions and how he could answer them. His walking speed slowed down considerably as he eyed the door of the manor, passing through the gate. He looked at and old swing set that hanged from the thick tree in front of the house, made with nothing but a wooden plank and rope. 'I'm here to give you this letter, but I was going to see you anyways even without the letter.....no, no, too forward. Oh, Lady Beneviento didn't see you there....at your own....house. Need me to lay down some pipe?' The last line he thought of originated from a book smuggled in from the outside world, the book always seemed to say the woman and man got together. But in Codrin's personal experience, Killing Lycans was way easier that talking about emotions.

Codrin snapped out of his thoughts when he saw a curtain move on the second floor, but the window was to fogged up for him to see through it properly. As he began walking up the short wooden stairs he took his mask down and took his hat off before putting it over his heart, revealing his unkept brown hair. He knocked on the emerald green door before him with three knocks. No answer. Codrin stood in place, listening to the small creaking of the rocking chair beside him. It was only in then he looked down and realized his coat was soaked in blood from last night. He cursed to himself, fearing he might dirty something of Lady Beneviento's. He stood up straight as the door slowly opened all the way and he was greeted by a figure in black.

"Oh......hello Codrin...."

A weak feminine voice came from the newcomer. It was a woman garbed in funeral attire and a black veil that covered her head. She was small, half a head shorter than Codrin and was thin as a twig, though there was the sign was maturing breasts through her dress. Codrin went to speak but his voice died in his throat, the lady Beneviento stood before him alone. He could only imagine she was staring at him through the veil, for it blocked her face from his vision.

"Come inside Codrin....you must be freezing." She spoke calmly as she grabbed his left hand and gently pulled him inside. The door closed behind them as she led him to the fire place, the flames giving off a pleasant heat. She looked back up at him and brought one of her delicate hands to his rough face and rubbed him. "Your so dirty Codrin.......and when did you last shave? Your small beard hair tickles like small blades....."
