Chapter 23: Riko
ASAMI pulls out her small pocket mirror and fixed her ponytail who was still intact. She closes the mirror shut and pulls out her phone as she takes a picture of herself and the defeated woman on the floor. _______
Suguru casually makes himself some tea while one of his cursed spirits has Kokun restrained. The curse user is completely immobilized with only one arm free to resist the cursed spirit constantly trying to lick and kiss him. While Riko and her caregiver are both unconscious and safely positioned on a couch,
Geto placed his tea down, "Etsuko-san and Bayer-san are here,too!" The man yelled. "They're the strongest combatants!"
Notification lighted up Suguru's phone as it came from two of his teammates. "Hey."
He lifts the phone towards him, "Is this your 'Bayer'?" A picture was shown of Gojo posing next to a guy that was lying unconscious on the floor. "And your 'Etsuko'?" He clicks a button on his phone as the man's eyes widen.
Asami was in the photo with her tongue sticked out as she showed peace sign with her fingers. Etsuko was tied up by her roots that were connected to the floor, with blood coming from her nostrils and her forehead.
_______ Back in the hotel, Satoru held the Riko Amanai in his hands as she looked like she was asleep. "I don't think she's hurt?" Asami questioned herself with her finger on her chin as she eyed the vessel from toes to head.
Riko awakened and the first thing she did was slap Satoru in the face. "You scum! If you want to kill me, you'll be the one to die first!"
After stopped laughing and pointing her finger at Satoru, Asami stepped in front of her, "Riko-chan, calm down. We're not with the group that attacked you." Geto started as Riko blamed them of being liars as they did have faces like ones.
Asami chuckles at her reaction, "Riko-chan, We're not here to hurt you-" The red haired got closer to her as Riko immediately activated her self defence and went over to slap Asami.
With her immense speed, she moves behind her. "Riko-chan.." She calls for her again as the teenager was startled. Just then, Satoru and Suguru grab her and hold her by her hands and legs.

Riko decided to go back to school as Asami, Geto, Gojo and Kuroi were over at the school pool. Asami made a disgusting face as she noticed the pool was dirty and already turning green.
"Suguru, how are the cursed spirits you sent over to watch her?" Asami questioned and walked over.
Geto complained if he could only share his senses with them as Mei Mei does. Satoru leans over his shoulder with his arm resting on it.
"Satoru. Hurry to Riko-chan's side." Geto spoke. "Huh?" Satoru and Asami spoke simultaneously, looking at him confusingly as he began to walk away. "Two of them have been exorcised ."
______ Satoru and Asami were on a roof of a building as a curse with a bag-mask spots the three before attacking them. Just as Suguru calls Satoru to warn them but he, Asami and Riko are already surrounded by four clones of that very same curse user.
He makes a fifth clone, but Asami slams it into another clone using her immense strength. Two more clones rush Satoru head-on but are stopped by the Infinity before being easily dispatched.
The curse user flees,
"Take care of Riko-chan. I'll handle him." He releases his grip on the girl as she falls to the floor with a thud. Satoru walked towards the windows,
"Who are you to order me around?!" Asami yelled. Satoru chuckled and turned towards the two, "Protect your head, Asami-chan!"
Riko did as he asked and Gojo broke the windows of the building as he flew inside. He attempts to use Cursed Technique Reversal: Red but it fails to activate, as Satoru has yet to master reverse cursed technique. Satoru comically declares that he failed and then simply punches the curse user to defeat him.
Asami was shocked by his foolishness as Riko received a message on her cell phone which brought the sorceress' attention. She had received a message that her caregiver, Misato, has been kidnapped.
