Chapter 36: Felt
"The surgery went well and she has awaken from being unconscious for a week. However, her body is still recovering by the cursed energy she put in by using two powerful techniques at once." Ieiri explained to Satoru with the moon shining into the hallway of the Jujutsu Tech.

"When can I see her?" He spoke quickly with a calm voice and a sigh of relief he didn't know he was holding. "Give her some rest, Satoru," Ieiri spoke and placed her hand on his shoulder as the other held Asami's medical records.

"And get some sleep. I know that you probably haven't slept for days."

Satoru lowers his head in defeat, "You told the kids to get some rest, while It was you that needs it the most." Ieiri stated.

Satoru nodded and sent a warm smile before thanking her for everything she had done.

The white haired laid in his bed peacefully with covers covering his stomach with his hands placed on top of another. He was staring at the ceiling as the scenes from that night tormented him.

The moment Asami was flying in mid air, being stabbed by Nobu's sword. The sharp pain he felt in his chest when the two fought, knowing she instructed him not to interfere-even though he so much wanted to. However, It was Asami's fight and he tried his best for it to stay that way and now regrets not killing Nobu the first time he saw him.

If he did, Asami wouldn't be on the verge with death, she wouldn't be laying in the hospital bed on the other side of the building, but with him. In his hands. With her head resting onto his chest as she fell asleep by listening to his heartbeat while he stroke her firing cherry red hair.

Satoru placed his hands behind his head as he closed his eyes and thought of the night with Asami. Their first time making love. How his heart almost melted at the sight of her innocent, sweaty expression underneath him with the moonlight shining directly onto her green emerald eyes.

Satoru Gojo has been with many women in his lifetime, but no other than Asami Kamo Suzuki could make him feel so whole. How their souls felt as one and struck against one another with such perfection and rhythm. How their movements-even in battlefield-were in sync and only a glance was needed between the two as their minds practically thought as one.

Satoru went through many things in his life-bad things, which made him feel useless and unworthy. However even a glance of her emerald green eyes or the sight of her beautiful meaningful smile changed his mood in a matter of seconds. Gojo felt it was his mission for as friends to protect one another, but the love he felt for the redhead was unmatched. He would slaughter thousands of enemies, even start a war if anyone would even lay a finger on her or if she came to him with a single strand of her red hair missing.

He only hoped to see her beautiful eyes in the morning again. But first, he was in a need for some rest just as much as she did.

The next morning, Gojo noticed almost every student of the Jujutsu Tech in front of her room in the waiting room. "Gojo-sensei." Itadori was the first to acknowledge the tall white haired as he straightened in his seat.

"Yuji." He greeted back, "Why are all of you here? Aren't you suppose to be in your dorms?" The sensei asks, glancing at Panda and Nobara that sat on the floor with Itadori, Megumi and Toge on the chairs as Maki stood leaning against the wall with her arms folded against her chest.

"We came to check on Suzuki-Sensei." Megumi spoke quietly in his usual tone. "All of you?" Satoru questioned with his eyebrows lifted from the information. The First and Second Years all nod quietly. Satoru felt to smile at the thought that they all cared for Asami as much as he did.

"Suzuki-san did a lot for us. It would be a shame not to at least see her condition after protecting us all, almost with her life." Nobara spoke as the sensei glanced down at him.

"A lot? Tch. She did everything for us." Maki spoke, earning all of their looks on her as she kept her head lowered,

"If you ask me, she has more respect from the Jujutsu World than those Higher-Ups. Suzuki-san was and still is hated by half of them because they all know she's mentally stronger than them, with or without being a vessel." Zen'in woman spoke firmly,

"Salmon." Toge agreed. "It's true." All of their head snap at the female voice behind them. She had her long dark hair tied into a low ponytail with two strands in front of her face with a kind expression.

"Who's that strange lady?" Itadori questioned and received a smack from Megumi.

"Rei-Rei?" Satoru questioned in confusion as the woman approached them. "It's true, everything you had said. Asami has more respect than any other person in this cursed world, the rumours of her being the next leader of the Council..are all true." Reina spoke with her hands rested behind her back as she was a lot smaller than Satoru.

"I, being the one to hand that place to her. All of the clans agreeing since the start of her journey as a sorceress.."

Megumi stood up from his chair and bowed towards the woman, greeting her. "It's an honour to finally meet you, Kamo-sama."

Reina chuckled at the dark haired boy, "You must be Fushiguro Megumi. My,My, you look so similar to your father."

Megumi awkwardly scratched the back of his head not knowing if she meant it as a compliment.

"Rei-Rei, what are you doing here? And alone?" Satoru faced the woman as she rolled her eyes at him. "Satoru, I am the Jujutsu Commander, being alone is the last of my worries."
Itadori gasped suddenly as he approached the woman and leaned down to her level. He placed his fingers around his chin and examined the woman's looks as she simply glares at him with her green eyes.

"Wait a second...Short temper, scowling, green eyes..You must be Suzuki-Sensei from the future!"

Everyone facepalmed themselves at Itadori's stupidity. "No,stupid. I'm her mother. You must be that Sukuna vessel...it shows." Reina spoke in an annoyed voice and Itadori made an 'o' with his mouth.

Their time was interrupted by Ieiri who was pretty stunned by the crowd in the hallway. She quickly cleared her throat and faced Gojo, "Asami's awake. She wishes to see you first...Satoru."

Gojo glanced down at the Kamo woman in approval. She sent him a warm smile with a nod and a tap on his back, "Go. I'll stay and keep these children company."

Satoru lightly chuckles and makes his way towards the doors as Ieiri stepped away, "Good luck to them." He mumbles under his breath before entering the room.
