The photoshoot was finally done, and we didn't have to kiss in the house. They had dinner brought in because I was exhausted from earlier. All these emotions are draining my energy.

I went to take a nap and fell asleep really quickly.

I woke up periodically and heard a couple chimes, but I was in a daze.

My forehead was sweaty, my neck was sweaty, basically everything was sweaty. My throat hurt, I was coughing, my eyes were watering, and I couldn't really move. I was definitely sick.

I heard people around me occasionally, but nothing noticeable. I felt someone kiss me, but wasn't conscious enough to know who.

The girls were chatting around me when I finally came to.

"Mae!" Chaeryeong yelled.

They all ran over to me and asked if I was okay. Someone felt my forehead and sighed.

"No fever."

"IU!" Another one yelled. I looked up and saw everyone just staring at me.

"Are you okay?"

"I think so? How long was I asleep?"

"A day and a half!" Eunchae yelled. "You had us freaked out."

Dang. That's a long time.

IU ran in the door and came over to me. "Mae! You're okay! How are you feeling?"

"Much better. My throat is a little sore, but I feel pretty normal."

"I'm so glad. Here, drink this."

She handed me a glass of water that I gratefully accepted.

"So what's happened while I've been asleep?"

They looked at each other and smiled.

"Well, everyone has found their soulmates."

"WHAT?" I yelled. "Who is mine?"

"Chan." Yeji said, smiling.

"Of course it is." I groaned.

"Did you know?" IU asked.

"I had a guess."

"You must've really been avoiding your connection and it made you sick. That happened to me, too." IU laughed. "But it was all fine in the end."

"Weird. Who else is paired with who?"

Jessi spoke up. "I'll tell you all of them. Yeji and Yeonjun. Soyeon and Jake. Wonyoung and Beomgyu. Eunchae and Niki. Chaeryeong and Seungmin. Jennie and Taehyung. Somi and Heeseung. Hwasa and Bam Bam. Me and Minho. Then you and Chan."

I looked at the girls around me and saw all of them smiling at the mention of their soulmates.

"Wow. I really missed a lot."

"We waited to have the sending off ceremonies until you got better. So we'll all be leaving tonight."

"Oh." I thought. "Sad."

"Yeah." Somi said. "But we can still party today!"

"Yay!" Soyeon yelled.

They all ran to their beds and got their swimsuits on.

"We're gonna go swim, but stay here. Someone will come check on you in a bit."

Eunchae waved last and then left the room. I laid on the bed and sighed. I found my soulmate and I wasn't even conscious? Lame.

And of course it's Chris. I'd expect nothing more from the universe.

A knock sounded on the door.

"Come in."

The devil himself walked through the door.

"Hi, Mae. How are you feeling?" Chris asked.

"I'm fine." I eyed him warily.

He walked over to my bed and sat on the edge.

"Did the girls tell you?"

I nodded.

"I'm sorry that I kissed you while you were sleeping. But IU said that it might help if your body finally got it confirmed. You started getting better right after."

"Makes sense."

"Can I retry our soulmate kiss? Now that you're awake?"

"I don't want to get you sick."

"I already kissed you while you were sick."

I laughed. "True. Okay."

He came over to me and cupped my cheek. Then leaned in and gently kissed me. I kissed him back and reveled in the feeling of kissing him. Now that I know he's my soulmate, these feelings make complete sense. Why it felt like I needed to kiss him versus the others.

We pulled away and he rested his forehead on mine.

"I'm so glad that it's you."

"Really?" I laughed. "Even though I made you throw up and threw water on you that one time?"

"Especially because of those."

"Whatever."

He smiled at me and tucked my hair behind my ear. "I knew you were my soulmate the second I saw you. I put your name down the first night."

I looked at him. "Really? I put Heeseung."

He gasped and then smiled. "Well, I saw you and just knew. That's why I was talking to you a lot, but you kept getting offended. It was really funny."

I smacked him. "It wasn't funny to me!"

"Yeah, I got that."

I scooted over so that he could lay next to me and he did. He wrapped an arm around me and I snuggled into him.

"This is weird." I whispered.

"Agreed." He laughed and it rumbled in his chest.

"But nice."

"Agreed."
