Thunderstorm

Cracking like glass thrown at a wall,

My feelings and thoughts consume me,

So strong they are,

Yet I still cannot decipher.

Broken down, like I am meant to be,

I'm destroying my own sanity,

But the thoughts in my head, they break most defence,

Yet each time, I get away, just by saying 'I am fine,'.

Feelings not translated in my head,

As I continue to scream at myself silently, refusing to call for help.

I take encouragement too violently, as my vision brims with red,

Not from them, but from myself.

I break down inside, continuing to hide,

Though left in plain sight, and one day found I might,

When I cannot hold my form, I shall crack,

Like lightning in a thunderstorm.
