As I stare at the ceiling,
I only hear lies.
My heart is aching,
Waiting until you leave too,
Like everyone else.
You're backing away,
And I'm used to losing them,
But I can't lose you.
Wrap me in your arms,
Tell me you will always stay,
But I won't listen.
I miss how we were,
But you don't seem to notice,
That we have since changed.
