[LISA's POV]

Earlier before Jennie and Eunwoo's date.

After meeting with some clients. I went straight to LMC Cuisine to meet my friend there.

“Good evening Ms. M” every worker I pass greets me, I nod and smile to acknowledge them.

I found the man I'm looking for, at private kitchen, sitting at the counter stool, drinking red wine.

“Yow what's up Pal, what brings you here?” He offers me a drink but I declined.

“I'm here for the new recipe” I sit next to him.

“Wait for our next schedule” He sips afterwards.

“Next schedule?! You're crazy Pal. I've been here four times, you still haven't taught me that new recipe” I act as a madman. But he knows me damn well, so he won't gonna buy this.

“You are still not continuing your story. So we're quits” He shrugged.

“Okay fine. I'll continue” I saw his big smile. “So... after I took her home. While the kids and I were on our way home, I thought it was time for me to give Jennie the closure she was asking for”

“That's a right decision Pal. When you finally give it to her, act like a stranger in front of her, like you were not ex-lovers” He poured another wine. “And I believe you will learn to love Somi too. Accept that this is indeed your fate. Unless you want to change it, but you must be prepared for the consequences. Remember Pal, once you'll gonna try to win Jennie back, you will not only lose your children, you may also lose the lives of people who are special to you. You know very well how crazy your father-in-law is”

Staring at the wine bottle, I didn't respond.

He was right, Somi would definitely take my children and Jennie's life will be in danger.

‘Don't be selfish Lisa. Don't only think about yourself. Jennie doesn't seem to have any feelings for you, so stop your mania’

“Hey. Pal!” He called for my attention. I look him. “I'll teach you the recipe later. But.....”

“What again Pal?”

“You have to do me a favor first. Someone reserved the rooftop for a date and they want us to cook them our bestseller and you are the one I thought would cook it because you know well your dad's specialty”

“Okay fine”

I didn't argue anymore because maybe he won't teach me the new recipe that dad should have taught me first, but because I was busy, Dad just taught it to bambam. And he deserved it because he was Dad's assistant cook.

“Start cooking Pal, because the couple is definitely on the way here. You know that uncle's number one rule is that customers can't be kept waiting for a long time” He stood up and then prepared the ingredients for me.

“I know, I know”

I started cooking, while he was just standing in the distance, busy on his phone. And sometimes I order him to hand over whatever I need which annoys him because I disturb his conversations with his girlfriend. But I don't care about that.
