Chapter 33

[LISA's POV]

The night Jennie has been waiting for is about to happen.

And here I am, still on my car, experiencing mix emotions, excited, nervous, sad.

I'm excited to see her and to have time with her even just tonight.

Nervous about what we'll talk about later.

And sad, because of the fact that this will be our last conversation as an ex-lover, we will definitely treat each other differently, especially her, after tonight.

After some time I finally decided to get inside the restaurant and check if everything's done. Jennie will arrive in a few minutes.

“Faster guys! We'll be scolded by L if we can't finish this in just five minutes” I saw BamBam commanding the other crews who were panicking.

“Hey calm down guys. What did dad say? 'Don't panic so as not to ruin the work' right?” I said.

“Is your date already here?” Bambam said instead. I shake my head.

I went towards them and help with some works.

“We can handle this Pal. You should have relax for the meantime, I know you're damn nervous” He says even laugh at me.

“I'm not nervous” I denied.

“Oh really? Then why your hands are shaking” He tease. I looked at my shaking hands and then hid it.

“Okay fine I'm so damn nervous right now” I sat near him and just let him handle the remaining works. “Of course, who wouldn't be nervous if you'll gonna meet the ex lover you still love” the last three words were just came out of my mouth smoothly.

I don't mind if the crews heard what I'm saying, they already know who I will meet here later, I already explained it to them. At first they thought I'm having a dinner date with my wife because I requested for them to make the place look more romantic than the last date Jennie had with Eunwoo.

This looks more beautiful. They put red carpet from the entrance all the way to the table near the railings. And then candle lights on every edges of the carpet. Blue rose petals all over the floor. Artificial trees and flowers with lights wrapped up on every trees.

“Done, Boss L” Bambam announces with matching salute. I give him a thumbs up and then tap his shoulder.

“Thank you so much Pal” I turned to the crews and thank them also “Thank you guys. Because you don't want me to pay you, I'll just treat you dinner tomorrow, and this time I won't take no for an answer”

They don't have any choice but to agree.

After a minute they all left, just me and Bambam.

“Still nervous?” He asked.

“Pain. That's what I feel right now” He stare at me so I look away, guess I know what he would say next.

“Lalisa. This is the right thing to do. Think about it, what's the point of dwelling on something that already happened, you have to move on. Accept what fate has given you” He moved the chair to sit next to me and embrace me with a comforting hug.

“The situation of yours and Jennie, you are really impossible for each other. You are stuck in a family that is impossible for you to escape, you have children that needs to protect from their hands. Even if you and Jennie choose each other if there are dangerous people around you, your life will not be happy as you think. Even Somi, even though she loved the twins as if they were her own, her father's blood still lingers in her. I won't be surprised if one day she'll takes your daughters away from you or worse hurts them when she finds out that there is something between you and Jennie”
