After half of the breakfast Sam already ate, He heard footsteps toward the kitchen and he saw Amanda was carrying lily on her waist. Amanda put Lily on her highchair. While Amanda straps Lily in the highchair, Lily turns her head toward Sam and says “ mowh-ing sammy ” while waving and giggling.
Sam replied back while smiling “ morning lil sis ”. Amanda just does her routine preparing food that was cut to tiny pieces and Lily drinks in her bottle and puts it on the tray in front of Lily while feeding bit by bit into Lily's mouth.
While Amanda was feeding Lily she spoke to Sam saying “ Sammy this evening we are going to the mall, I need to buy some groceries. Maybe after that we can eat lunch at the McDonald's before heading back home so after eating you can go upstairs and dress up ”.
“ Sure mom ”. Sam replied while stuffing his mouth with scrambled eggs.
A few minutes later when Sam stood up, walked toward the sink, put his dirty plate in the sink. When he was almost at the stairs he heard his mother calling his name. “ Sam... When you're done dressing up, come to the lily room ”.
“ Okayy ” Sam replied.
After dressing up, Sam walked to Lily's room and watched as his mother was diapering Lily on the changing table. Amanda saw Sam entering the room and said “ wait a minute sam will do you after lily okay ”.
Sam questioned his mother's words “ will do me after lily ? ”. Sam has puzzled faces.
Amanda done changing lily, strap her off then proceed to put a one piece dress on lily that has a sunflower pattern. She walks back toward the changing table while walking she picks up Sam by his armpit and puts him on the changing table.
Immediately when Sam was laying on the changing table he spoke up “ mom what are you doing? ” In a very questioning tone.
“ I know you already promised to keep your undies dry but this is just a precaution ok, if you need to go to the toilet i will take it off ” With a caring tone.
“ You mean I will wear a diaper while going out? ”. Sam almost whined.
“ You might have an accident like when you were playing with lily in the backyard, you don't want to walk with wet pants right? ”.
Sam shrugged and said “ but mom I'm embarrassed to wear a diaper when going out ”.
“ Sweetie I promise people will not know ok ”. Amanda said while caressing Sam's cheek.
Amanda is just going into mommy mode. Strips Sam pants until his ankle, powder with baby powder, fluffs the diaper, picks Sam's leg by the ankle and lays the diaper on his butt then pulls the tab to close it. She pats infront of Sam diaper and says “ Done! ” Pull his pants up then pick sam put him on the floor and say to both of her children “ go wait mommy in the living room while I'm going to get dressed ”.
Sam and Lily replied in unison “ Ok … ” only the last word is different. Lily uses ‘ mommy ’ while Sam uses ‘ mom ’.
Both Lily and Sam go downstairs waiting for Amanda. While waiting Lily invites her brother to join in her play. Sam just follows the flow and plays with her sister.
After Amanda is done dressing. She walked to the stairs and she heard a very cheerful sound like a toddler voice giggling loudly.
When she arrived downstairs she followed the voice and saw both her childrens were playing together and in her mind was thinking “ the voice surely sounded like a toddlers were having fun ”.
“ Okay kids let's go ”. Amanda said.
They arrive at the mall to buy groceries for around 1 hour. Then they go to McDonalds for lunch. When inside the McDonald's Amanda and her children get seated at the table. One of the waitresses noticed and approached them.
“ Hello miss, would you like a 2 highchair for the kids? ”.
“ Oh hello, yes please but only 1 highchairs and 1 booster seat ”.
“ Sorry miss, our booster is all in use ”. She added more “ it seems like both your childrens still under 6 years old so they still can use the highchairs ”.
Amanda was astonished that the waitress said that both her children were still under 6 years old. She thought and said “ okay, 2 highchairs please ”.
Sam heard the conversation between his mother and the waitress. After the waitress walks away to get the highchairs, Sam talks to his mother. “ Mom, can I not sit on the highchairs please? ” With pleading tones.
“ Sorry sweetie, they ran out of booster seats ”.
“ But mommm ”. Sam whined.
“ Just this time plus nobody knows you here so they will not know about this ”.
The waitress came back with 2 highchairs. “ Here, miss your childrens highchairs and for the little ones here is your coloring pad with crayon ”.
“ Thank you very much ”. Amanda.
“ Your welcome miss ”. The waitress.
Amanda then picks up Lily first then puts her in the highchairs and strap her in. Then move toward Sam and do the same thing.
While Sam was in the highchairs he was fidgeting a lot because he was so nervous and looked toward his mother pleading to strap him off from the highchairs but Amanda was not looking at her children because too focused on getting food from the apps menu.
Amanda ordered 2 set happy meals. Then order a big mac large set for herself. Then Amanda takes a look at her children after ordering the food. She looked at Lily and was having fun with her coloring pad. But when looked at Sam he was fidgeting and could hear his diaper rustling.
Sam was very nervous. He could feel his bladder give a signal that he needed to go to the toilet but he was strapped in highchairs. He tries to unbuckle the highchair strap. “ Why is the buckle so hard to unclip ”.
“ Sammy sweetheart don't remove the buckle you could fall ”. Amanda says in worrying tones.
“ I need to pee, mom! ”. Sam in a very urgent voice.
“ Oh! Let me unbuckle you ”. Amanda goes to Sam to unbuckle the strap. When she unbuckled the strap and held Sam's armpit to get him off from the highchairs she could hear a faint hissing sound coming from sam.
In Sam's mind “ thank god mom unbuckles me, i really need to pee ”. But when Amanda tried to lift Sam by the armpit the dam burst open.
Because Amanda was holding Sam by his armpit she held him in a much higher position and smelt the front of Sam's diaper. She took a whiff and could smell pee like a mother smells her baby diaper if she or he already uses it.
“ Sweetie, you already go pee pee? ” she asked with a motherly tone.
Sam cannot speak, he only can nod his head to tell his mother that he already uses the diaper with teary eyes. Because he felt like a baby cannot hold his bladder.
“ Oh honey, nothing to worry about. Look your pants are not wet and that is what the diaper is for, when we get back will change you to a fresh one okay ”. Amanda with a soothing voice while making Sam sit back on his highchairs and strap him in.
