Kotlc~ After Stellarlune

~Chapter 4~

Biana Vacker was waiting at the gate for Dex, Sophie, and Keefe. Biana had wavy, silky, long brown hair that went down past her shoulders, and bright teal eyes. Usually, Fitz would be around Biana, but he was mad at Sophie for a variety of reasons, so it made sense. Sophie just hoped that Biana wasn't angry at Sophie too, cause Biana was avoiding eye contact with Sophie.

"Hi Biana!" Sophie said, trying to break the silence 

"Where's Wonderboy?" Dex asked

"Yeah, where is our Fitzypoo?" Keefe added

"He's moping around, in his room, as always," Biana rolled her eyes "I heard that you all went to find Elysian but sorta failed." Biana said, noticeably trying to change the subject.

"They didn't take me! What was that about Sophie? And don't tell me 'nothing happened', Sophie. We want to hear it all."  Dex added.

Keefe looked at Sophie, motioning her to tell them everything. "Well, that's a bit of a long story. Let's go inside and talk." 

As they started to walk through the golden gates of Everglen, they hear a noise from behind them. Goblin footsteps.

"Aw, come on, Woltzer. It can't take that long for you to find me!" Biana laughed

Keefe looked behind himself. "Uh, Biana. I don't think it's Woltzer. It's Gigantor and Grizel!"

"Do not call me by that name!" Sandor replied in his signature squeaky voice. 

Sophie giggled "Sandor Smoochypants it is, then. Or should it be CAPTAIN SMOOCHINATOR?" 

That earned a laugh from everyone. Even Grizel.

"Race you all to the common room!" Grizel said in her husky accent

~Inside Everglen~

As Sophie (And Keefe) narrated their misadventure flop, everyone came up with ideas on how to get to Elysian, before they have to wait again, and more importantly, before Gisela.

That's when Fitz came down the stairs.

"What did I miss? Sorry, I was working on my telepathy so our Cognate connection is stronger." Fitz said in his signature Vacker accent.

Fitz was handsome. He wasn't a roguish cute person like Keefe, he was just so.. so.. Fitz. He was basically just a guy version of his younger sister. Dark brown hair, combed to the side so it wouldn't block is radiant teal eyes. 

Of course, she didn't like Fitz like she used to, but it didn't mean he was any less handsome.

"We were just talking about how to get to Elysian." Sophie replied

"And I'd like a guarantee that WHEN we do go, everyone will go." Dex said

"Yeah, me too. You need our help, Sophie. Safe or unsafe, life or death, we're coming with you. It's what friends do." Biana agreed

"This is my mom's mess, not yours. I'm the mess. The one she wants. If anyone's gonna go, it's ONLY going to be me." Keefe replied to everyone

Sophie buried her head in her hands. "Not again with the guilt Keefe. And you're not a mess. You're Keefe. Sir Smirks-a-lot, Lord Hunkyhair. You mean more to us than you know, Keefe. You deserve everything good the world has to offer; and more." Sophie finished, angling her face to him and gripping his hand.

Everyone nodded their agreement.

There was a moment where they couldn't stop looking in each others' eyes.

Fitz cleared his throat

Biana was looking anywhere but Dex.

Then they let go

"Hey, I think someone else is here. Let's go open the gates, Biana." Dex said, attempting to changing the subject

"Yeahh, let's go.." Biana said, dragging Dex to the door

Sophie couldn't handle that awkwardness. 

"Wait for me!" Sophie added

Soon, everyone tagged alone to go see who was at the gates.

~At the gates of Everglen~

It was Linh! And Marella! But no Tam..

There was a lot of mist around Linh's head. And Marella looked a bit scared.

"Hi Linh! Hi Marella!" Biana squealed

"Where's Bangs Boy?" Keefe asked

The mist around Linh's head thickened. "He's with Glimmer." Linh said mockingly, the mist turning into dense, grey clouds. "I don't understand what she is to him, the light to his dark? Every minute, every second, with Glimmer. He trusts her, just because she let him lose from the bonds on his wrist," Rain started to pour down heavily on their heads "She's EVIL, not good." Linh finished, as everyone was drenched with Linh's downpour.

Linh had long, straight dark black hair with silver tips. She has pale skin, and her cheeks are always rosy. Her eyes are a perfect medium of silver and blue.

Then Wylie appeared by Linh's side. "Remember, Linh. Like you always have said, 'Actions don't tell the whole story, and bad can be misunderstood'."

Wylie has dark skin, cropped curly dark brown hair, and striking navy blue eyes.

"Anyways, Tam should be here later." Marella answered for Linh

"Uh, I don't mean to interrupt this glorious time where we make fun of Bangs Boy, but my hair looks kinda bad, so can we go dry off a bit?" Keefe asked

Linh's scowl softened "There's an easier way to fix that." she said, as she turned back to her normal smile-y self.

She concentrated on all the water around her, and soaked it all up. Miraculously, Keefe's hair returned to normal, and everyone was completely dry, as if nothing had happened.

"Wow" Fitz and Dex exclaimed in awe

Sophie noticed that Biana slumped a little bit as Dex and Fitz said that.

"Let's go inside now?" Biana asked, sounding a little wary

Everyone nodded their agreement as they walked through the gates of Everglen.
