~Chapter 5~

Biana lead everyone to a humongous bedroom; maybe over 15 times the size of her own bedroom, and she guessed for the occasion, it made a little sense since there were supposed to be 13 of them; yes, even Stina was invited, as this was an important meeting.

The room was golden, with silver curtains on all 4 walls, each one with gargantuan windows. The floor was like marble, with gold and silver swirls, yet so soft Sophie swore she could fall down and sleep on it. And the beds; they each had their own assigned beds, each with the color of their talent. As an inflictor, Sophie's was red. As she reached down to sit on it, it was like sitting on a marshmallow. It was gnome-made, of course.  On the other side of the room there were what Biana called couches, though they seemed more like the equivalent of thrones fit for royalty. The walls were lined with roses and gemstones too. Was this a dream, or were they in a castle?

"What is this place? And don't tell me it's just a bedroom Biana, because I swear even royalty doesn't have a room this lavish." Sophie asked, lying on her super- comfy bed

"It's actually one of our old event halls, and seeing as we only use, like one of them, I decided to give it a makeover! Do you guys like it?" Biana asked excitedly

"It's amazing! You set this up all by yourself?" Dex asked, stopping to study his own bed

Biana nodded as excitedly as a puppy "Well, she had some help, of course." Fitz added, bringing a few trays of mallowmelt

Everyone devoured their mallowmelt fast.

"So what's the game plan?" Keefe asked. "I mean, aren't we all here to discuss important things?"

"I was thinking we should wait for everyone before we start talking about it." Marella replied

"And we should probably talk telepathically, cause it seems like the Neverseen always has their eyes on us these days." Wylie added

Right then, Della brought in Tam, Rayni, Jensi, and Stina.

"Perfect timing guys!" Dex said, flashing his dimpled grin

Meanwhile, Linh looked like she wanted to send a whole hurricane over to Rayni.

This was going to be one difficult sleepover.

Rayni had long jet black hair, big navy blue eyes, with long lashes. She had nougat skin, too.

Rayni was really pretty. Why had she hidden herself under a hood for so long?

Naturally, Biana was all over her in a jiffy.

"Ohmygosh your hair is so SILKY. What products do you use? Why'd you hide yourself in a hood for SO LONG??" Biana squealed

Rayni gave a simple shrug. Maybe Rayni would tell them when she was finally ready.

"We can't talk telepathically with her. Little Miss Neverseen could expose everything," Linh continued "She can't even tell us why she hid in a hood!" 

A flare of light lit around everyone "For the last time, I'm on your side! Don't you think I would've done something by now if I was a spy?!" Rayni said angrily

"Maybe you just have some secret technique" Stina replied calmly

"Oh, shut up Stina. You don't help us with anything cause you're a scaredy-brat and complain about everything and how your life is soo hard." Dex snapped back

"Why can't you guys just accept that Rayni's just better than you and is on OUR SIDE." Tam said, as he pulled his silver tipped bangs over his eyes.

Soon enough, the whole room turned into a screaming match.

Someone had to intervene.
