Hehehehehe
Hello Coast Crew,
This was so fun to write. Got my stomach doin flips and shit <3
Also, I have decided that the movies will NOT be included in this story; maybe when it's completed I'll make some 'special chapters' covering them, but we still have a long way to go with the manga/anime plot line and, based on you guys opinions, that seems like the best route to take. Thank you for all of your input!! It was super helpful and I always appreciate it! <3
Happy reading!

I'm scowling beside Usopp on The Crow, our arms linked together as tears quietly slide down his cheeks, gazing up at the impending doom before us in trepidation. Sanji sits on the side-edge of the raft not too far from us, while Luffy has his foot stamped on the gas pedal, his other leg propped up as if he had just conquered the small vessel or something.
How he had managed to stand in the driver's seat without the other two's intervention, I had no clue; Whatever, as long as we were on opposite sides of the boat I could care less.
The milky road is long, and lined with beige stacks of bricks neatly arranged so that any travelers don't fall off (or can't escape). Eventually Luffy's excitement dies down as the minutes trek on, the only sound leftover being that of the boat's low hum as it glides over the watery-clouds.
"I really hope Conis is going to be alright," Usopp isn't crying anymore, but our arms are still connected.
"She's gonna have hell to pay when the White Beret's catch up with her, and it's her own fault. She'd be okay if she hadn't helped us. And I'm not entirely sure if she can trust that Sky Knight, he gives me the creeps."
"He's kinda' old and weird, but he doesn't seem like that bad of a guy." Luffy chimes from the steering wheel, eyes trained on the path ahead as his hands hold the prongs.
"There wasn't any other choice. I want to protect her, but we couldn't take her with us, either." Sanji crosses his arms thoughtfully as he agrees with Usopp's sentiment. Taking a puff of his cigarette, he looks out over the brick wall to the white-white sea beyond.
I say nothing, not interested in adding to the conversation as the possibility of Luffy getting annoyed with me loomed over my psyche. I couldn't be bothered to deal with that.
"Yeah, she's probably in less danger without us... considering the 'sacrificial altar' and 'ordeals,' I wish I was the one flying off with the old geezer." Usopp sighs, leaning his head on top of mine solemnly. Under the newfound weight, I subtly nod in accordance.
"Man, this piece of junk is slow." Luffy whines from ahead, obviously losing patience.
"Of course it is. It's gotta' be several times heavier than a sky waver, what'd you expect?" Sanji chastises the boy for his impatience, before the milky road all of a sudden lurches into a sharp dip, and we're veering into a much larger canal; the white clouds splashing at the sides of the boat as we reach the bottom.
It's like we're in a whole new area. The pit inside of me that has been steadily filling with dread since our departure deepens as I recognize the massive green roots that trail along the edge of the river; and I look up at their source to confirm my fears. The massive trees wave in the wind, welcoming our entry into their masses. We were here.
"I hate this place." I mutter, bringing my knees closer to myself.
"Guys-- Where did that huge forest come from?!" Usopp shrieks, letting go of my arm to point at the newest development.
