~ Jesse's POV ~
Once the group dispersed, I went to go look for some way to get me up to the glass. As I was looking around, I spotted a slime demo. Then...I got an idea. "Hm, I bet I could reach the glass with a slime block." I mumbled to myself. I made my way to the booth, only to meet eyes with the Ivor lookalike from earlier. My face dropped once I made it to the counter. "Ohh...heeyyy...we meet again...hehe...he..." I paused, "One slime block, please" I finished with an awkward smile. "We don't give out slime blocks here. Just slime balls. But we've got a limited supply today and we're only giving out 2 per customer." " You COULD craft your own slime block if you had 9 slime balls..." I gave her a perplexed expression before remembering what had happened earlier. "Oh, yeah, I'm really sorry about earlier– I honestly thought you were someone else." she raised her brows at me before speaking, "Apology accepted." "A round of slimeballs for everyone, please." I heard a familiar voice say from behind me. I turned my head only to meet with Axel, Olivia, Petra, and Reuben. I smiled as everyone got the slime. "Wait" I paused, "This is only eight, we need one more to make a block." I stated. "Where's Y/N?" "I dunno. She walked away when we all did, but I haven't seen her since." I gave another perplexed look. "Well, we need to find another way to get some more slime–and quick." P told us. "On it!" Axel shouted. And with that, we disbanded again to look. As I was, I noticed Lukas leaning against a post, flipping the one thing I was looking for: A slime ball. I sighed to myself before taking into consideration what Y/N told me. I walked up to the blonde with a calm expression. He looked up at me as I was beginning to talk. "'Sup?" "'Sup?" "I'm sorry about everything before." Lukas' eyes lit up. "O-Oh, yeah no problem." Lukas told me. "Y/N was telling me that you weren't as bad as the others..." I paused. "I guess I just didn't want to take my chances and have it not be true." Lukas gave me an understanding nod. "Yeah...I know Aiden is a little...well...on the arrogant side– but, apology accepted." The blonde said with a sincere smile. I smiled back, partially forgetting why I walked over to him. "Oh–I almost forgot, can I have your slimeball? I swear, there is an explanation for it." "What's the reason?" He asked me. "Some guy scammed Petra out of a deal and we're trying to get him. We know where he is, we just need a way in." "Count me in." Lukas said with a smile as he handed me the last slimeball. "Thanks Lukas" I heard Petra say as she came up behind me. So had Olivia, Axel, and Reuben. Petra leaned into my ear and whispered, "I told you he was useful" "Awe man– this guy isn't actually cool, is he?" Axel asked, more so complained. "Remains to be seen." Olivia said, grining. "Before we craft, we should wait for Y/N." Olivia piped in. The group agreed. It was only seconds after before I heard a familiar voice
~ Y/N's POV ~
I finally spotted the group again, and I was so eager to show them what I got. I was ecstatic. "Guys!!" I shouted with a huge smile on my face. I was so excited that I literally couldn't stand still. Once I had gotten to the group, I was almost walking in place because of how much I just couldn't hold still. "Is everything okay Y/N?"Jesse asked me. "You'll never guess what I just got." I said, almost forming it into one word because of how fast I was talking. "What?" Jesse asked with a smile, happy to see me happy. "I just got one of Soren's books for FREE." I said, almost faster than before. I was so excited. "Really?" Olivia asked me. I nodded my head 'yes'. "That's really cool Y/N." I heard someone say. That someone was Lukas. "Thanks Luk– Wait– Lukas?" I said surprised. I didn't even need anyone to tell me what happened, I already knew. "Good job Jess." I said with a smug smile. Jesse rolled his eyes before telling the rest of us that we needed to hurry. He turned to the crafting table and began placing the slime balls in every slot, creating one big slime block. "One slime block– gross." he said. "I'll take that." Liv said. Before mapping out where it should be placed. "Riiiight there." she said as she placed it down. I smiled at her smartness. "It's all you Jesse." Axel said. "Gimme a boost." And with that, Jesse was on the top of another stand, jumping off and landing perfectly on the slime block. He bounced off of the block and successfully punched the pane of glass. The hole in the machine practically poured out the chickens like water. The owner of the machine whipped his head around once he heard all the ruckus. "My poultry!! My precious poultry!" He yelled before running after the animals. The usher quickly noticed the mob of chickens and began to panic. "Keep your eyes closed! They'll peck out your eyes! Ahhhhhh!" He said as a chicken knocked him over. "Now's our chance!" Petra indicated. We all ran by the usher, eager to get into the hall. He got up and noticed us. All he could get out was a 'hey' before getting pushed down by another chicken.
