Y/n was steaming mad as she walked out of the office, she ended up explaining that there was an emergency at work with a model's interview and she needed to go and re- interview him.

That way she'd only feel a little guilty about lying, since it wasn't technically a lie.

You stomped back to the spot where she left Chat, looking around and seeing nothing. You were a bit relieved however it angered you more that not only did he make you cancel on the best piece of information you could've gotten, but he ditched you!

"Asshole." You muttered,

"Well that's just uncalled for." You groaned at the sound of his voice and looked up, he had reverted back to his first position. Hanging from the ceiling like a deranged bat. "And here I thought we were in for a romantic evening."

"Do you have any idea what you just did? How much effort went into this? How much more effort I'll have to do now because of you? What's you're problem anyway? Why are you so obsessed with me? Can't you just leave me alone??"

Chat snickered at your questions,

"The date hasn't even begun, why are you already playing 21 questions? I'd walk you outside but I'm afraid pets aren't aloud in the building so I'll have sneak out. I'll meet you at the door princess." He gave you a small finger wave before adjusting to disappear into the rafters.

"Sure they're going to arrest you because you dress like a cat." You scoffed, "Definitely not the fact you stole priceless artifacts."

You have no clue whether or not he heard you, he was already gone by the time you finished your sentence.

You didn't want to go outside, he was there and it was freezing cold. Of course he would only show up when it was the most inconvenient, you finally understood what Ladybug was going through. Except she's always looking for him and he won't leave you alone.

You walked outside, the sun was starting to set, you were looking forward to watching it from a heated cab on your way home but you guess that'll never happen now.

He was waiting for you outside like he promised, out in the open as if he wasn't a criminal.

"Buonasera principessa." His smile reminded you of a child who hasn't given up on the world yet. [Friendly neighborhood translator: Good Evening Princess.]

You crossed your arms, already sick of him.

"Why the fuck are you speaking Italian to me? Did you hit your head on the way out?"

"What, you don't like it? All girls love foreigners."

"All girls also love not being interrupted by a blonde cosplayer during the middle of an investigation."

Chat slowly came closer, looking away in thought. He scratched the back of his neck.

"Hm, that's seems very specific. Could you be talking about someone in particular princess?"

"You make me want to jump off the Eiffel Tower."

"Oh?" he grinned, " So not a great date spot then? Now I'll have to come up with a plan B."

You closed your eyes wishing to be anywhere else but here. To be anyone else but you, standing next to anyone but him.

What a shitty end to a shitty day. You thought.

You felt something heavy on your shoulders and your eyes shot open immediately ready to scream and knock Chat Noir to the ground, or at least try. You paused when you saw him inches away from your face,
