In which there's still six days left until the new animatronic arrives at the Pizzaplex, so in the meantime, we get to check in with Moon, Eclipse and their temporary helper in the daycare! (TABB AU. Regarding the old Moon situation, which is going to be slightly relevant in this chapter, I gotta plan to accommodate the new backstory without totally retconning the chapters I've already written. No I will not explain, I just wanted to clarify to clear up any potential confusion. :3)

"Alright, so for my first security shift, I got assigned to the daycare and stationed at the security desk. Pretty sure Monty did it on purpose, and honestly, I do appreciate it," I explain to Eclipse as we get ready for work today. I don't have any other clothes so I'm just putting on the daycare uniform, same as him. Well, almost the same minus the goofy-ass slippers. "I don't doubt you'll have everything under control, but in case things start getting too overwhelming, I'm close by to help out. I'll take care of any messes or walk the kids to the bathrooms in between my patrols."

He nods with a small smile, replying, "That sounds good to me. And hopefully your security shift will be quiet. I know you've taken the dayshift before, but still."

"I can handle whatever comes my way, I promise. At most, it will probably just be some Karens kicking up a fuss, but I know how to shut them up and send them packing." I smile and pat his shoulder to reassure him, then I pick up the remaining ribbon of his and wind it around his wrist before carefully tying it. "There you go."

"Thanks, Moon," He says softly, his smile growing wider. "You ready for work?"

"I'm more ready than I've ever been in my life. I have a good feeling about today!"

"Alrighty, kiddos! Let's play hide and seek!" Eclipse chimes to the relatively small crowd of kids in the daycare today, receiving plenty of excited cheering in return. "Who wants to be the seeker?" He goes on to ask, looking around as a couple kids raise their hands and shout me! over and over. He thinks for a moment and suggests, "How about you two work together, then?"

"Okay!" The kids agree, then Eclipse leads them over to the security desk so they have their backs turned to the main daycare. He glances at me with a little wave that I return with a smile, then he turns his attention back to the kiddos.

"Now, I want you two to count down from ten- not too fast- and everyone's gonna go hide! But not outside of the daycare enclosure or in the ballpit, okay? And remember not to climb up the jungle gyms or slides."

The kids nod in understanding and Eclipse lets them start counting- which they do, out of sync from each other- and then he runs off to the group of hiders. "Go hide now, little ones! Remember not to get too close to the generators!"

With that, the kids all scamper off in multiple directions, one of them heading towards the daycare doors. I step out from behind the desk to stop her, crouching in front of her and whispering, "Hey, remember the rules? No leaving the daycare enclosure, Anna."

"Awww, but why not?" She asks, looking up at me with a pouty face.

"It's not safe, and it's not fair to hide where the other kids can't go. Now go hide somewhere that is safe unless you wanna get caught right off the bat."

"Fiiiive, FOUR!" One of the seekers starts counting very loudly, emphasizing my point for me. Anna lets out a squeak and runs off to the closest play structure, trying to start climbing the slide.
