9 - "Date" At The Lake

Time skip the next day after the adventure

Flare's POV

We were given another reward which was another digital feast.

"Enjoying the food, hot head?" Jax asked me as I growl lowly.

"I told you to stop calling me that!" I yelled silently.

"It fits you through. Thought I would call you something that fits you." Jax explained.

"FLARE FITS ME!" I roared. Jax looked at me.

Scar lifted his head up.

"Eh, I prefer to call you hot head, hot head." Jax said.

I felt my fire in my lungs again.

"YOU SON OF A (HONK!)!" I yelled. I quickly flew towards a red block. My fire bursted out onto the red block. The red block started to disinigrate.

I took heavy breaths. I landed on the ground, and glared at Jax.

"Your NEXT!!" I yelled, pointing at him as all the rest of the characters had a shocked expression on their faces. Well, Scar had slight shock, but then again a slight blush.

I bolted towards Jax and grab his neck.

"Um, Flare maybe don't-" Ragentha tried to say as I turn my head to her.

"DO YOU WANT TO BE NEXT, DOLL FACE!?" I roared as Ragentha immediately stopped talking.

I turned my head back to Jax as I got ready to disinigrate him.

I bursted out blue fire straight at his face, but it didn't effect him. Instead it only disinigrated his chair.

"What the?" I asked myself as I let go of Jax's neck. Jax let out a sigh of relief.

"Didn't you forget that we can't die in the digital world, hot head?" Jax asked me. I throw him down in anger.

"Shut..up!" I said to him.

"Eh, you only wish I could." Jax said. I only sighed in annoyance.

"Just..no one bother me for the love of God!" I yelled as I flew to my room in anger.

I slam my room door closed in anger.

"That stupid rabbit always just..BEING SO ANNOYING!!"

I quickly drew a doodle of Jax and disinigrated it with my fire.

I then heard a knock on my door.

"Oh great! Might as well make a sign that says 'Enter this room whenever you like to since SOME people just love to annoy you more.' GOD!!" I yelled walking towards my door as I opened it expecting it to be Jax.

"What do you want now you ignorant little-" I suddenly stopped when I realized it was Scar looking at me.

"Oh," I suddenly said as I crossed my arms. "What do you want Scar? Did you come here to annoy me more?"

Scar shook his head then smirked at me. "Now why would I want to do that to you? I've already seen what you can do." Scar said.

"Wow, seems like you controlled your anger well. Unlike me around that STUPID RABBIT!" I growled. Scar chuckled a little.

"I'm surprised at my self for not lashing out."

"Eh, everyone's already scared of me. Besides, I bet they annoying brat hasn't learned his lesson." I said.

Scar put his fists together. "If he doesn't learn then I'll make him learn." Scar then let out a slight smile.

I laughed a little. "You know that don't have to do that. Right?" I asked him.

"Well it would be funny. Besides, he deserves it. Also, weren't we supposed to go to the lake?" He asked me.

"Well, my mind has been all over the place." I apologized to myself.

"You can't blame yourself." Scar confronted.

I looked off to the side and let out a slight smile. "Yeah, I guess your right."

Time skip where Flare and Scar were at the shore of the lake.

"You know Scar, I'm curious. Why did you bring me here?" I asked him as he looked at me and smirked.

"Well, just thought that we could have a little break from everyone you know?" Scar answered.

"Yeah, I guess so." I answered back looking off at the ocean with a slight smile, but it slowly drifted off.

Scar looked at me with a slightly worried look. "You know Flare, that one day where you were out at the lake laying on a piece of wood. What was that about? Ragentha told me that you never done that before."

I look at him with slight shock, but hid it.

Thinking about my previous life. Wait, I can't tell him that! Would he think that there's something wrong with me? Just make up an excuse! I panicked in my mind.

"Just..um..visions." I answered not sounding that confident.

"Bad visions?" Scar asked me.

"Yes?" I answered looking at him with an unsure look.

Scar then sighed. "You know, I feel like you have two sides." He said.

I turned my head to him with a confused expression. "Two sides of me?"

"Yeah, one side is all angry, and the other one is happy." Scar explained looking at me.

I look at him with a skeptical look. "So, your saying that I can be happy and spread my joy around the others?"

Scar laughed. "Well, I wasn't planning on you saying that."

I also laughed letting out a smile. "Like I'm ever going to ever do that around Jax. I prefer him calling me hot head and not cheerful unicorn."

Scar laughed more, but slowly stopped. "I heard that maze thing with you and Jax was..an adventure."

"Oh, that was incredibly fun! You know what I might as well do it again just for the heck of it!" I said sarcastically.

"That would be so much fun for me as well." A voice said sarcastically.

I turned around to find Jax standing there crossing his arms.
