4 - Unexpected Turn Of Events

Flare's POV

Hour's have past, and we still can't make it out of the maze. It felt like we were walking in circles. 

"I told you we should of gone right not left!" I growled.

"Shush will you? I can't hear the maze." Jax said looking at me with a slight glare.

"You know at least the maze has something that you don't."

"And what is that, sweet heart?"

We started walking our way back as we turn left.

"Manners!" I said looking at him. "And don't call me sweet heart!" I yelled at him starting to walk ahead of him.

Jax groans in annoyance and started to walk ahead of me, as we STILL look for a way to get out of this torture.

"If we ever get out of this. I will not hesitate to shove a knife down your throat." I growled with a slight smile of amusement.

With the others.

No POV

Everyone was relieved to be out of the maze. Then they notice that Flare and Jax were still in the maze arguing. The others were watching the duo on a floating TV screen.

"Why did Bubble pair them together again?" Pomni asked the gang.

"They don't seem to be getting along." Ragentha pointed out.

"They seem to be..doing ok..sometimes.." Gangle said.

"There my favorite dynamic." Bubble said with joy in his voice. "I like Flare's threats to him. There funny."

Back with Flare and Jax

Flare's POV

It was quite and silence, but for some reason I wanted to break that silence.

I caught up to Jax and raised a brow.

"What's up with the overalls anyways? Out of any color it can be why a disgusting red?" I commented.

"Well sorry not sorry shorty, but that's the way I came here. Besides, I love them. There distinguished, and look who's talking, the edgy dragon girl who has a low temper every 2 seconds.

"It looks like a sheep walked towards it, and rolled over it and died-"

Jax groaned in annoyance as I let out a slight smile.

"Please annoy me quietly." 

"- of shame." I continued finishing my sentence.

I suddenly felt in instant in my body as I look down and see a red X.

"Trap." I only said.

"Huh?" Jax asked as he stepped on the X and launched in mid air.

Jax then landed as I quickly moved aside as he lands where I used to stand.

"That's what you get for being a dum (Boing!) And for how you treat others."

"It's not like there my harmless, little pranks!" Jax explained getting back up.

"Says the one who put a centipede in Ragentha's room this morning, knowing that she's afraid of them! Well guess what (Honk!) I left a little surprise for you in your room."

Jax looked at me with confused and slight curiosity.

I walk up to him and let out a mischievous smile. "Who knows there might be something under YOUR pillow tonight." 

I stepped over the trap as Jax looked at me with in shock as he saw a slight glimpse of my mischievousness.

Jax then followed me.

"Can't believe I'm doing this..never thought that I would meet some low tempered humonoid dragon who shows the same mischievousness as me." Jax muttered under his breath as I heard half of it.

I turned my head. "Hey! Quit muttering to yourself. Remember your surroundings so we don't walk in circles AGAIN."

Jax only chuckled. "Whatever you say kid."

"I'm two or three years younger then you." I snapped.  

"And yet you sound like a grumpy, old lady." Jax commented.

My pupils went slit as I breath out a hint of my blue fire.

"I will shove you back onto that trap then disinigrate you with my fire!" I threatened.

"Then I'll make sure to take you with me so I don't almost land on ya." Jax said jokingly.
