In the morning I had a slow start. An even slower time waking up. I stood up and stretched. I yawned softly as I walked over to the box. I decided to start putting things into their places so I could feel more comfortable. Once everything was in a drawer or hung up my room was looking a little more me.

"Yellow or white.." I mumbled. I was trying to pick a dress to go out in but it was difficult. Both looked good and were different then hospital clothes so. I picked up the yellow sundress and held it to my skin. It brought out the best of my dark Carmel skin color. I held it up to my body in the bathroom mirror and sighed softly. It'd have to work.

It's not that it wasn't a pretty dress, it just wasn't pretty on me. I grabbed the black bra mom had ran out and got me. I slid it on and grumbled. Now my tits look like they were overflowing out of the cups. I sighed rubbing my face. I slid the dress on, luckily the top had a crossover like a corset so I was okay but it was a bit irritating. My hips stretched the dress out in a far more annoying way than I figured.

I went over to my drawer as I slipped on some sandals. Mom had bought plenty of shoes for me but when it came to clothes she just couldn't come through. I began to lotion up and slipped on a breezy Shaw. My self harm could be triggering for others. I slipped on the wedged sandals mom got me and put some Vaseline on my lips.

I grabbed my phone and the headphones it came with. I got Spotify this morning because I needed music. I headed down to the living room as I slid my headphones in. Mom and grey were chatting as they happily drank coffee. Was it weird to resent grey? And coffee? "Oh! That dress looks great on you." My mom nodded. I rubbed my arm. "Yeah." I nodded.

She slid over a card and a wallet. "Go have fun today or something. Get some clothes and whatever else." She smiled. I nodded picking up the card and wallet. "Need a ride?" Grey asked. "Walking is good for the body." I responded with as I left. There was this lady I really liked music wise, Lana del Rey. I couldn't exactly explore music in the institution unless I had it for free time.

And free time became a relatively new thing since I was always a red. I was also obsessed with cardi B, and Melanie Martinez, and pierce the veil. I was finding that I liked a lot of music. I walked down the little dirt path with my head down. I usually came to the creek for the summer when me and mom lived down on that little hill. I looked up and around. Things were pretty and calming down this way.

I sighed out gently as I shut my eyes. I opened them and flinched. A bike was THIS close to hitting me. A guy with brown hair being the rider. I yanked my headphones out of my ears, "what. The. FUCK." I growled. "I'm SORRY - I told you to move!" He rushed out. "Excuse me? You can see me before I can see you and you decide that i need to move?" I asked him. He shook his head hopping off his bike. "I'm sorry okay - my bad." He sighed softly.

He grabbed his water bottle taking a quick few gulps.  I sighed and ran a hand through my blow out. Yeah I really didn't care about putting my hair up and out of the way. I like it being free. "I'm sorry, I'm august." He introduced. "Taraji, but you can call me Tara." I stated. "Taraji, that's interesting." He nodded. "Yeah, I get that a lot." I shrugged.

I crossed my legs as I stood. "Are you - new around here?" He asked. "Why?" I asked back. "Well you're just- really pretty. I would have noticed someone like you." He tilted his head to the side. I ran my fingers through my hair to the side. "I grew up around here, but I went on a — holiday for five years." I smiled. I'd rather not air my dirty laundry out. "Oh.. makes sense.." he nodded.

"I'm sorry again. Do you — actually wanna get a coffee with me?" He asked. My nose scrunched, he chuckled. "Not a coffee fan?" He asked. I shook my head. "Well, how about ice cream?" He asked. I tilted my head. "I have to get some shopping done for my room." I stated. "That's okay, I'm not doing anything today." He smiled. "Sure, let's do it." I smiled. He was cute, sun tanned skin, Lima bean green eyes, dark lashes and eyebrows.
