You slowly fluttered your eyes open, trying to adjust to the different surroundings, but the moment you moved your body, you felt a pang of pain in your belly, causing you to wince in pain. Lance, who had been sleeping on the couch, woke up after hearing you. His eyes shot over to your figure, and he quickly got up and went over to you. He gently held your hand, tears forming in his eyes.
''Hey, you're finally awake'' He said softly, his voice full of relief and concern. You looked over at him, your eyes tired and your body weak. A small, tired chuckle escaped your lips.
''Hello'' You said, your voice barely above a whisper. Lance's tears spilled down his cheeks as he leaned over and gently stroked your hair.
''I'm so glad you're awake'' He said, his voice quivering. You tried to sit up, but the pain in your belly made you wince again. Lance quickly stopped you, helping you to get back into a comfortable position.
''Don't push yourself'' He said, worry etched on his face.
''How...long was I passed out...?'' You asked tiredly, Lance let out a sigh
''3 days...'' He said, your eyes widened slightly. You realized something

''Thank you for staying with me'' You said, your voice filled with emotion. Lance's eyes softened as he leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on your forehead.
''Of course, I would never leave you alone'' He said, his voice full of sincerity.
