Three's a crowd || Sonic x Amy x Shadow

Mall misadventures, part two.

The four of them were walking together, happily talking and just being with each other. The other three are left confused as Sonic speeds off; gone in a flash for seemingly no reason. A minute later they see him returning to them looking like the biggest dork ever. "That Blockhead.." Shadow says. Tails and Amy laugh, "What are you wearing?" Amy asks? "I thought it would be fun if I got this," added the smug hedgehog. "It's merch if my three favorite people." "As sweet as this is," Amy giggled. "You look goofy, dear." Sonic is wearing a Tails snapback, a Shadow T shirt and an Amy jacket. "I know I do!" He laughed, "but I think it's worth it." He grabbed Amy and Shadows hands, them walking through the mall together like that. The four were having a wonderful time, enjoying each other through the mall. All of a sudden, there's a huge crash and the sound of a couple people screaming. Sonic and Shadow dart off before Amy could even react, but Shadow wasn't gone, Amy saw him... Hiding? This isn't normal for him. Her and Tails went and joined him, making sure to give him some space. He was crying, curled up. They could hear him saying "no.. don't take her.. stop.. don't hurt them.." over and over under his breath. His face was panicked, he was fearful. Amy, sitting a bit away from him, whispered "I'm sorry.. what's your name?" "..Shadow" "where are we..?" "Th-the mall.. n-not Ark." "what's my name?" "..Amy rose" "and what's his name?" "Tails" Shadow was still crying, even hyperventilating too. But his flashbacks were over. "Can I hug you, dear?" Shadow nodded, then the two hugged while Shadow cried. "Let's go find Sonic, I think we should go home." Shadow nodded. The three of them walked off to find.. Sonic cleaning up glass? He spots them and heads over. "Hey guys! It was just a little accide- shadow, are you alright?" Shadow nods, looking at Amy to answer. "He had another meltdown.. he's okay now though." Shadow looked away from them, embarrassed but still holding onto Amy. "Okay shads.. you three head home, I'll finish up here and then follow suit. After a moment, sonic ran up behind them and walked with them. He reached out and grabbed Shadows other hand, making it known that he was there too. "We'll talk about it when you're ready, Shads.
