Your First Adventure

"Now that that's settled," Caine exclaimed, causing you to jump. "we will begin today's mini game!"
Everyone gathered around to the stage.
"Today's adventure is..."
"Adventure?.." Y/N asked nervously.
"Ah yes! I have created adventures to keep everyone from going insane! Absolutely bonkers! Loosing their marbles! Bananas! N-"
"We get it Caine." Jax said a little annoyed.
"Alrighty then! Today's adventure is... Green Parkour!"
"I think I'll pass." Jax started to walk away.
"Jax! Get back here!" Ragatha whispered as she grabbed his arm.
He jumped. "Don't touch me."
She let go and rolled her eyes.
"Jax, you know that everyone must participate. Besides, you have the longest legs. This should be easy for you." Caine said. "And with your long legs, it should be easy to help Y/N across! They're new, so they aren't used to it. They may need some assistance."
You and Jax shared an awkward glance. He had a disgusted face expression.
"No way."
"You all will start... NOW!!"
Everyone ran and jumped on the first platform. They were all just floating circles. This looked easy.
" 'scuse me Dollface." Jax shoved Ragatha off the platform boosting himself forward.
"HEY!!" She yelled, getting back on her feet.
"It's not against the rules!" But just then a dumbbell flew across the room and hit Jax square in the face and he fell off his circle, the dumbbell holding him to the ground.
"Its's what you get. Honestly." Zooble said.
Ragatha zoomed to the end and hit the buzzer. "I win!"
"By sheer luck." Jax freed himself from the dumbbell, panting.
"Even if you didn't push me off, I still would have won."
"Suuure."
"No use in arguing, the game has already ended." Caine said.
Y/N had only gotten to the first platform, then just stood there watching everyone else.
"I saw that you were having some trouble!" Caine pointed out.
"Oh- I-"
"You'll get the hang of it soon, I assume!"
"I hope so.."
