"What the hell happened earlier?"
Lia and Jessica and both looking at me,waiting for an answer.
"Nothing,just this jerk that decided to play the tough guy card" I roll my eyes."Well..explain" Jessica adds.
"Its nothing serious.It passed let it go"
"You should be lucky I wasn't
there...my brother teached me some stuff alright" Jessica laughs before taking a sip of her cola.
I opened my phone earlier..and I had 50 missed calls from Ryan.I think he called last night when he didn't pick up after I called him.
I stop and think to myself how worried he must be
"Rose!" I hear my name and my head shoots around looking for the voice."Loren..?" I watch loren make her way towards me.
"Hi" I say in a squished tone as she hugged me tight."Holy,its packed today" she looks around at the place
But why does it look like she's looking for someone more like...
"Hey,am Jessica" I watch Jessica introduce herself."Pleasure to meet you" lorean replies
"Can I have 2 shots of tequila?"
loren places herself on the counter.
"Are you sure?" I laugh
"Come on.It won't hurt" she raises her brows."Well...you guys enjoy am gonna go hand out some drinks" lia adds
I nod and lia walks away."You won't believe what happened" I lean on the counter as I watched loren."What happened?" She replies
"This piece of shit literally assaulted me.And it was so sickening that at some point I wasn't even thinking about myself..but how it feels like to other women"
I take a breath.
"Why is it so hard for us girls to even do our jobs properly.Like even if we breath we are told we're doing it for attention..it hurts to know we grab everyone's attention,but not in a good way"
Is she even listening
"EXCUSE ME?" Jessica's voice nearly grabbed everybody's attention."What on earth?" loren looks at her weirdly.
she didn't hear a thing did she
"Who was it? Tell me.I want you to tell me right now who the hell it was so I can go and rip his tongue out"
Jessica looks at me with fire in her eyes
"Its fine.I promise am fine ace handled it,it won't happen again"
I tap her hand and I can't help but laugh at her reaction.
I see loren putting her hair on one side as she fixed her posture."everybody might be leaving soon" ace spoke as he approached us
"What?" Jessica adds."We might leave earlier today" he says again this time opening a can of soda
"Wait really?" Jessica smiles "then can we maybe go somewhere? Just to eat out as a team" Jessica finishes.
"Am not sure" ace places his drink on the counter and I can't help but notice loren trying to get his attention desperately.
God this girl
"Why are these sodas so hard to open?" lorean groans.Her eyes are sitting on ace
Could she make it a bit more less obvious?
"Need help?" I ask.She seems frustrated,"No am fine" she forces her smile.
"So how old are you guys?"
loren adds to break the silence
"Oh I'm 19" Jessica says.
"What about you?" lorean has a big smile on her face as she turned to ace who looks like he doesn't want to reply.
"Does it matter?" he says."I mean-"
"He's 21,we're siblings"
Jessica says cutting loren off.
We're the same age..he looks older then me though
"what about you rose?" Jessica is smiling at me."Oh am 21"
"Oh,same age as ace" she looks at the both of us and for some reason she's wearing a cheeky smirk on her face.
"Guys,we have some people leaving already" lia approaches us."Alright. let's show them outside" ace says as he places his drink on the counter
"Can I help?" Jessica adds
"Yeah,just stay at the entrance" ace states.
"Can I too?" Loren is smiling,"Uh" ace is rubbing his long hair at the back of his head.
"She can take my place,she'll go with ace and make sure everybody gets out safe" I say
"are you sure?" lia says.I look at ace who looks unsure
"Yes am sure.Now go go people are gonna leave" I sign them all with my hands to leave and they do.
Jesus..I'm exhausted.Loren really likes ace doesn't she? I mean she can like whoever she wants but...am not sure if ace even cares about her.
I open my phone and call ryan,"i can't leave him worried" I say to myself.
The phone is ringing...I just hope he can answer."Hey" I say,"why the hell do you always do this to me?" His voice is worried
"Am sorry!.I tried calling you last night but my phone died" I look down at the counter
"there was so much traffic,that's why I was late and believe it or not at some point I wanted to get out of my car and literally run to you.That's how worried I was"
He's the first friend who has cared for me this much.
"I know you are capable of that" I laugh a little."You know...you still owe me that lunch" he adds
"Shit.Fine come over in 10 minutes everybody from my work place here is going to eat out including me.
"Am coming" was his last words before hanging up the phone.I close my eyes and shake my head smilingly at the thought of his clinginess

"Everything done?" lia has her hands on her hips and she's looking around at the spotless place."Yeah..we're finished" Jessica adds as she holds a wet cloth
"did you finish?" Lia asks loren."Yep" lorean smiles
"Great,then we can go right?"
Jessica places her hands together merrily.
"Do we have to?" Ace says as he puts his coat on and shakes his head to fix his hair."Oh come on don't be a Spoilsport" Jessica whines
"Am not stopping you from enjoying yourself.You can go I just don't feel like it"
"But I want my dear brother with mee..." she hooks her hand around his arm.I can't help but laugh a little.
"je vais me suicider"
He looks at his sister as those words leave his mouth.She smiles of happiness
"Come on then,am starving"
lia finishes and walks towards the door...but I have to tell them
"Wait" I say grabbing everyone's attention."Can we wait 5 more minutes,a friend has to get here he wants to tag along...if that's okay with you guys"
"Uh yeah,sure why not?"
Jessica says."The more the merrier" lia adds too
Am looking at ace but he seems annoyed.
