Destiny picked us

♡Chapter 7♡

Could it be any colder?..

I hug myself as my phone rang..but ryan isn't picking up.

He said he would have come after me when I finish..I didn't plan to call him,I never did but the bus left,and I can't wait for another 45 minutes.

My eyes are scanning the sky..the murky sky who isn't showing a hint of light.Its so quiet..peacful..yet to lonely.

Ace left.He did offer me a ride,but I told him I was already getting picked up...now looking back I could really use his help.

I sigh and turn my phone on "shit" I say between my teeth "it just had to die?.Yeah this is great..you know am now gonna get kidnapped like in movies" I laugh at myself

"and I don't even have a phone to call for help" Am terrified.

I notice car lights and my heart warms up,I squint my eyes trying to take a look at the plate licence.

"I thought you had someone coming already?" ace is looking up at me through his car and I can't help but feel so much more at ease..its not ryan..but its ace.

I don't know this guy but for some reason I have this trust in him..that I shouldn't have for a stranger.

"Why are you back here?" I ask,still hugging myself from coldness.

"I wish I knew that myself" his eyes are begging for clues..he's confused but so calm.

"Get it" he says as I watch him get out of his car and opening the door to the other side."Are you sure..?" i look at him,REALLY look at him.

"I mean,do you want to stay here? alone?" he tilts his head.

I really have no choice right now..

I let out a sigh and walk over to him.I stop for a second and glance at him before getting in the passenger seat.

My knees are away from the gear box and I can't help but pull my bag close to my stomach."You haven't told me your address".I turn my head to him,

His jawline stands out flawlessly as he stares forward,his right hand on the sterling wheel and his left resting on his thigh,"My address?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Well where do you want me to take you?"

Oh yeah

"Right" I laugh awkwardly.

We stop in front of my house and a pile of gold is lifted off my shoulders."Thanks" I offer him a smile,but he doesn't look at me.

As soon as I leave the car he drives off. I should get some good rest,I need to get to the bar at 9 tomorrow.Even though he told me not to

I want to go help.

I stretch in bed being woken up by the small light peaking through my blinds,desperately waking me up.

I get up and walk over to the sink to wash my face.

Today is a pretty long day.Its Saturday which means I don't have any school today,although I still need to finish some studies about the animal brain and how it works.
