The whole drive is so quiet...the only loud thing is the rain outside.Ace told me to call Jessica,so I did
She said she walked home 30 minutes before the storm,she called it "luck".I called it her parents looking out for her
"Do you think we'll make it?" I ask
turning my head to ace who's hands are gripping the steering wheel to not cause the car to slide.
"Am not sure"he says.I sigh
"merde!"
Ace spits as he looks at the speed."What the hell is going on?" I look behind us and a tree falls blocking half the cars driving "Oh god" my voice is shaky
"The cars out of control" those words cause my heart to skip a beat."What do you mean?" I look over to him and he's clenching his jaw in struggle as he tries to control the pedals
He's sweating...and shaking..
"ACE FOCUS" Am rubbing his arm to try calming him down...but its not helping."ACE PLEASE" I don't know what to do...I don't know what to hold or touch..we're gonna die
He's not with me anymore...he's zoned out but still holding the steering wheel..he's scared,Frightened to his core and I can't help but notice a tear rolling down his pale cheek.
"Oh god..." Am panicking
"LISTERN TO ME ACE.I KNOW YOU WENT THROUGH SO MUCH AND IM SO SORRY YOU HAD TO....BUT PLEASE,PLEASE FOCUS OR WE'RE BOTH GONNA DIE" Am touching his hand and trying my best to bring him comfort
"Your parents would want you to live on for them ace...don't do this, please...come back to me".I'm gripping his arm and my eyes are widening as I looked forward.
We're gonna fall into the water...
"Ace.." Am crying,my tears are rolling down onto my neck.
"Jump" my heart stops and my head shoots to the side "Wh- What?" I stutter,
"Rose.." Ace looks at me with his red teary eyes,begging me to listen
"Ace what do you mean jump?"
My heart is flying out of my chest.
"I need you to trust me,please.."
His eyes are begging me while his hand is connected with mine,the warm feeling of his hands cause some of the panick to ease.
"Are you crazy?!"
"On 3"
"Ace please.. "

"WE'RE GONNA DIE" I hold onto his hand while crying

I take a breath...preparing myself for the worst

The echo of mothers soothing voice is singing in my ears."Silly! You're going the wrong way!" am confused,and lost.
