Chad, Wes, Romeo, Mindy and Amber sit on a bench at the front of the Sheriff's Department. Chad is speaking sotto to Wes, Romeo still being able to hear from where he is sitting.

"... I mean, she even slept with Vince, you know? Liv is not known for her conservative values. Is it me? Am I not as hot as I've been led to believe?" Chad said, turning to Romeo when he heard him mumble something under his breath. "What?"

"You are hot, Chad. And if they can't see that, they're blind." Romeo said, turning his head to look at Chad who smiled at him. "If you're not straight I would let you hit." He said, smiling when Chad's eyes widened slightly.

"You're a suspect in a murder, and this is what you're worried about?" Wes said, looking at Chad and Romeo.

"We're not all single virgins, Wes." Chad said, shrugging.

"Hey! I'm a virgin." Romeo said, pouting as Chad's eyes widened again.

"How are you a virgin?" Chad asked, shocked. "If I'm not straight I will hit on you." He said, chuckling when Romeo did. "And hey, I'm not embarrassed to say you're my boy crush."

"And so am I." Romeo said, leaning back against the chair. This is the type of friendship he and Chad have.

"Well, maybe that'll change soon." Wes said, eyeing Amber who's texting with Tara.

It takes a moment for Chad to take his meaning. "You think-- wait, you actually think Tara-- That she'd leave that... to come back to you?!"

Wes shushes him, but Chad's escalating cackles result in the rare Dom Deluise silent laugh, and when Wes looks at Romeo he sees that Romeo is holding onto his laugh as well, but he's not laughing at Wes. No, he's laughing because Chad is laughing.

"Does Wes' mom think it's you? Because of the stalking? Did you use my boring defense?" Mindy asked as Liv returns.

"I think she has her eye on someone else, actually..." Liv said, glancing at Romeo who has now changed seats with Wes and started play fighting with Chad.

Sam sits next to Tara, who's watching her protectively. Richie, Amber and Romeo next to them as Sheriff Judy questions Sam.

"He called you on your phone?" Judy asked.

"Yes." Sam said, looking over at Amber. "It was Amber's number."

"He must've cloned her phone when he stole it and pretended to be Amber." Romeo said.

"Yeah. Or you did it." Richie said, narrowing his eyes at Romeo.

"And where were you when this happened?" Judy asked.

"I was... watching Netflix." Richie lamely said.

"Nice defense." Romeo said at the same time Amber said. "Super solid alibi, bro."

"So where were you?" Richie asked.

"We were at the police station talking to the Sheriff." Romeo answered, crossing his arms. "But, you know, the Netflix alibi's good too--"

"Three of you, stop it." Judy said.

"You're gonna put more cops on her room, right?" Sam asked.

"We're stretched really thin, the best we can do is move you to a private floor. Deputy Vinson knows what he's doing. You'll be safe." Judy said.

"Like we've been so far?" Sam and Romeo said simultaneously, looking at Judy.

"Samantha, let's step outside." Judy said, ignoring Romeo and walks out.

"What's your parents doing throughout all this." Amber asked Romeo who turned away from the door to her.

"Enjoying their lives." Romeo answered simply.

Sam re-enters the room after a few minutes. "Well, she remains a delight."

"Are you okay?" Tara asked.

Sam exhales and then looks to the others, deciding. "There's something I need to talk to Tara about, can you guys give us a minute?"

Romeo nods, walking out the door and leans against the wall, watching Richie and Amber walk out a few seconds after.

"I wonder what they're talking about." Richie muttered, silence fills the corridor until he walks towards the closed door and places his ear against the door, listening in.

After a few minutes passed Sam steps into the hall, trying to collect herself. Bumps into Richie. "Were you listening at the door?" She asked, looking over Richie's shoulder at Romeo who nodded.

Romeo gave them some privacy by not listening to them talk with themselves, but after a few minutes Sam and Richie approached him. Romeo looked up at them, raising his eyebrows questioningly.

"Do you know where Dewey live?" Sam asked, looking at Romeo who slowly nodded.

"Why?" Romeo asked curiously.

"We need to talk to him." Richie answered for Sam.

Romeo sighed, nodding his head. "Yeah, I do. I'll take you there in the morning."

Sam nodded, smiling at Romeo who returned the smile. "Thanks, Rome."

"Anything for my favorite babysitter." Romeo said, smiling.

Sam returns the smile.
